OMG!!! I think you just saved my life! I bought my 2nd Intex Greywood deluxe July 1. Got it July3. Setup July 4 amd used it at night. Next day e90!!!! I tried everything!!! I called the seller they were supposed to send a “part”. 2 weeks and nothing came. Saw your amazing video. Took the filter apart and surprise the shaft was in pieces!!! Ordered a few from amazon and a new propeller just to have and voila!!!! It’s working!!!! Thank you thank you!!! From this very happy and appreciative single momma!!!

Those sensors are actually temp sensors. The flow sensors are the plastic gates with the wire coming out to the right of the heater tube. And that heater tube can get nasty and the paint inside can flake off causing a flow restriction

Thank you so much a 6 month old spa and the shaft to the pump broke. Fyi a hanger ( wire ) with silicon tape ends is the best fix. Its the same size and will keep your spa running strong.

Thanks for this video! I've had my Intex Spa for just over 2 years and have gotten the dreaded E90 error a few times. Previously, this issue was resolved simply by cleaning out or replacing the filters. This time I tried everything - cleaning filters, powering on/off, ensuring proper water level and sanitation - nothing fixed the error. Thanks to your in depth video I took apart the pump and everything looked just fine so I reassembled it and voila - It worked suddenly!

Mane you had the fix o' the week. Thx to your video ive fixed my pump! After following your instructions ive opened up the pump and inside was all kinds of crap. Cleaned it up and reasemmbled it now it works fine even sounds quieter 😆 E90 error has been fixed 💪💪

Great advice, thank you. For me the problem wasn't the pump, it was a wire to one of the sensors that had been chewed through by a mouse! Checking everything else led me to the problem though. So 👍

My husband and I just tore ours apart, following all the directions. Easy & instructions from you were on point! Unfortunately it didn’t fix it 😭 Still getting no noise whatsoever and the E90 error. My jets work still 🤷🏼‍♀️ Any suggestions on what to do next?

Did you replace the shaft if it was broken? What error code are you getting?

Also try turning it on with no filter. Sometimes the filter restricts water flow and causes a code.

I have replaced the impeller with the 403M model but still no luck. No water flow or sound. The bubbles work so that’s good back to the bucket heater. I did however enjoy your video.

Bucket heater can't filter water

Check your water flow sensors. And try starting it up with the filter off. Sometimes the filter restricts water flow and throws a code

My impeller looks mint no junk my shaft appears to be ceramic I still get e90 and no noise or attempt to turn on pump at all with it apart on the bench, almost sounds like water is in the pump housing impeller won't spin just gets stuck motor vibrates basically

Also make sure the shaft is seated properly in the rubber holders on each end.

Get a wite hanger cut to size and cover your ends with silicon tape. Works great

Mine had E90 and 8888 replaced shaft with a solid brass. Now air bubbles cycling on and off with radom numbers on the dispaly and constantly beeping. No buttons responded just turns on blower automatically filter doesn't come on only blower.

You don’t need to do all that, turn on hot tub make sure the heat button on find the motor tap on it with a handle of a hammer. The propeller is suck I’m not moving ez fix

It is an impeller, not a propeller. If the shaft is broken, it won’t spin. Tapping with a hammer won’t do anything. If there is debris in the motor then that is a different story as I mentioned.

Pump works fine, however when I turn on the heat it works for few minutes then shuts off with no error code. I can run the bumbles and everything, just won’t heat up without shutting off. Any suggestions?

The heater is painted black inside it comes off and blocks water flow. You need to take it off and clean the paint out if it.

I don’t have a link but you can search amazon for an active aqua 550 gph impeller. Once you use this the replacement shafts will no longer fit the impeller as it uses a smaller diameter shaft.

What?! I've used this thing less than 10 times!!!! What a piece of junk. Has new filters. Old ones were not super dirty. Ridiculous. Waste of my precious life's time.

It's garbage. Good for one year then it fall apart. Leaks inside tub. And after a few year not using my pump impeller was fused to the pump. Gave up keeping it in one piece. Drilled it out so I can replace it for hopefully a cheap one. Having a 3d printer so able to do some modifications if needed. Better not buying anything from Intex. Low quality bad service. No warranty no help. Even when it's clear it's manufacturing error. Have several leaks. Welds and inner jet tubes. They send me an offer to buy a new tub for full price. 👍
