I sometimes wonder why reckless people like this always win the hugest jackpots. I don't even want to win a lot. I'd be perfectly happy if I won a measly $500 GRAND. I'd finally be able to buy a measly 2 bedroom house with a single car garage and save up money for retirement.

When you score the jackpot, your mind starts to make you think of all possible things you can get and have that you couldn't get before. You think to yourself "Now I can get the car I always wanted" or "I can get the house I've always wanted" without thinking about the possible negatives it will bring. If you flaunt your money like some of those idiots did, people will literally beat you until you are unconscious and rob you point blank. If I win, I'm wearing a facemask and keeping my name as anonymous.

Bruh…ain’t never won the lotto…should’ve though…I remember back in the early 2000’s my wife asked to use our last $5 to play the lotto…I was like hell nah…later on that night she checked the numbers that came and she showed me the numbers she would’ve played…and she matched every gotdamn number…would’ve won $150 million…shit still hurts to this day…but we talk about it every now and then…and honestly glad it didn’t happen cause we would’ve been for sure on this list…cause we were in our late 20’s and would’ve been buying a bunch of dumb unnecessary shit…but sometimes I just wish…a lil bit…but everything happens for a reason as they say.

I've heard the story about the money being stolen from his car several times, but have never believed it. I think he most likely spent the money in a way that he did not want to let anyone know about and made up the story to explain where it went. If I ever win the lottery, I'm immediately hiring a lawyer to claim it anonymously, paying off all debt, then figuring out how to enjoy the money but at the same time live modestly enough to not call too much attention to myself. I'm one that wouldn't want to just not work at all, so I would likely take on a project or two that would justify somewhat of an uptick in my spending habits..but not too much. Luckily, I'm not into fancy Lambos and things like that, and living in some huge house would be a waste. I would take care of close family's and friends' medical expenses if anything major hit the fan tho. None of my family is living large but they're quite comfortable already.
