Bennett, National doesn't act as loyal opposition because it has to as a key part of a functioning democracy, rather that National's real opposition to the government is based on the intense disliking of the New Zealand people. National is opposed to anything the government does because National hates the people of New Zealand and so they kick the ladder out from under kiwis trying to climb out of poverty and hardship which is why Bennett goes into a rant about kiwis relying on loans and foodbanks.

the fuk are you talking about, national loves the working kiwis which is most of us, labour rather make my life harder and all my friends and family working normal jobs, just so she can help out a minority of people. Labour 'hates' the hard working kiwi so they can virtue signal about homeless people if anything....

Umm is her favourite word. If you could remove all the ummmms you could knock 3mins of this vid.

Indeed - why couldn't No Bridges have the grace and dignity to give a speech like this.

Meanwhile late 2019 National showcases a tyrannical pin up billboard stating they will 'crackdown' on gangs. I would love to see the use of old fashioned abusive school 'punishment' language dropped from campaigning if Ms. Bennett needs to be so effusive in the house. Just feels like monied biscuits being thrown in place of genuine transparency.
