National has the bloody nerve to complain about fuel prices now, when under the National Government, fuel prices in the majority of main centres were knocking on the $3.00 per litre mark. Some other places it was more. Under the Labour Government, fuel prices are cheaper, even though it may not be by a big margin, but they are.

I feel like our Auckland traffic is less jammed now. Our bus and train is excellent and comfortable compare to other first world countries so I made the decision to take public transport as often as I can. Cheaper too.
@martintheiss7436 жыл бұрын
what is the price of a one way or a day ticket on Auckland city busses?
@fdja0016 жыл бұрын
@@martintheiss743 combined between bus and train, it cost me around $6 per day return tickets. So in total, i spent around $30 per week (5 working days) for non monthly pass hop card. Compare to previous petrol price $2.40 per litre, it would cost me around $50 per week. Plus parking since i work in cbd. I noticed the traffic jam is start to happen again since the current petrol price is down to 2.19 as of today.

We pride this country on its number 8 wire skills, the best way to spend government money appears not to spend it at all, I have a solution that fits that government attitude for our fuel problem, offer our citizens if than can come up with an alternative energy that is practical and a long term solution, give someone 5 million dollars of the tax payers coin for solving these problems, you will be amazed the skill us blue collars have, it will be money better spent than spending that much on a asking for a solution than an review of the problem, be sensible and make a solution from some of the number 8 wire skills we built this country on . BTW you look like spoiled little brats.
