Thanks Winston. Waititi is committing treason. Today he said on public radio "For far too long, we've allowed them to assume, under the guise of kāwanatanga, absolute sovereignty and control.." and "We must step into rangatiratanga, we must look at what our own oranga is and our own parliament." This was in relation to his call for Maori to 'strike' spontaneously tomorrow on budget day and deliberately to disrupt traffic. Both of these actions will be illegal. He is encouraging Maori and others to believe that they don't need to obey New Zealand laws, that people can do whatever one or another rangatira says instead. You're correct, that's advocating for anarchy. How on earth is that going to enable the country to achieve any success as a nest for its people? It can only reduce the quality of life for everyone here. The Maori Party is sowing the seeds for civil war. You recognize the profound threat that these irresponsible, selfish ideologues present and you are calling that out clearly and strongly. Thanks Winston.
