Whats best to use for sugar flowers fondant /gumpaste
@inthekitchenwithelisa
@inthekitchenwithelisa 4 ай бұрын
I prefer to use fondant and add cmc to it if needed. Fondant and cmc works out a little cheaper usually, at least where I have searched. Also I usually have fondant on hand and gumpaste rarely. But you can use either.

Wonderful....just to make sure, how do I stick the flowers on cake or cupcakes?
@inthekitchenwithelisa
@inthekitchenwithelisa 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Mel, if it is a buttercream or ganache cream you are sticking them on then you need nothing extra. To stick them on fondant use edible glue or some water. Water doesn't stick as well as the glue, but should also work.

@@saimaparveen1429 yes, I prefer to do that once they are dry as then you wouldn't be ruining the shape by adding colour.

@inthekitchenwithelisa
@inthekitchenwithelisa 4 ай бұрын
Hi Shireen, I am based in Germany, so I can't really say. But you can try Amazon, maybe they have it. If you check the video description, you can find a link there to Amazon for this mould. Just not sure it will be the same for US, but you can try. I wish you good luck in finding it😊

How long can the flowers be stored before using?
@inthekitchenwithelisa
@inthekitchenwithelisa 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Karen, as long as you allow them to dry completely first and then store them covered so they don't get dusty, I don't think there is any time limit really. I would say they are good for up to a year then.

Hi Victoria, try to search Silicone Mould Petunia, that is how it is called. Mine is from a company called Silikomart, but I think other providers might also have it. I hope you will be able to find it😊🤞🏼

how do you put it on the cake?
@inthekitchenwithelisa
@inthekitchenwithelisa 4 жыл бұрын
Hi there, if it is a cake covered with buttercream you can just press them in lightly to attach to the buttercream. If you have covered your cake with fondant, then use edible glue or water to attach.

How can I store these flowers?
@inthekitchenwithelisa
@inthekitchenwithelisa 3 жыл бұрын
Hi there, after making them you need to allow them to dry at room temperature until they are completely dry. Afterwards you can store them in an airtight container.

How long do they remain
@inthekitchenwithelisa
@inthekitchenwithelisa 5 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kindness Seema! I am not 100% sure, but it seems they last at least for 1-2 weeks. You just need to allow them to dry completely and then store in an airtight container. I hope this helps :)
