Hello, We are the team from the new variety show "Living in Finland's rented room" on tvN, a South Korean television network. Our program was filmed this summer in Kemijärvi and Posio in Finnish Lapland with famous korean actors like Cha Eun-woo, Kwak Dong-yeon, Lee Je-hoon and Lee Dong-hwi. We would like to inquire about using this video on our show. The videos will be used to introduce the various kinds of finland's berry foods. As american, this is very disappointing cake. Never heard of sandwich cake before, suppose it is easier than making individual sandwiches all day long? Wow very different from what am used to
@inthekitchenwithelisaАй бұрын
Why disappointing? It is actually really yummy 😋 Yes, obviously it is easier to make individual sandwiches, but that isn't the point here. This is something very typical made for different celebrations in scandinavian countries.
@SamSpray-jg9hzАй бұрын
@@inthekitchenwithelisa disappointing only because when hearing cake I expect sweet, and it is not only not sweet, but savory a fish sandwich even it seems. I even like sandwiches sometimes. It is just very strange to me, I'm still processing the personal discovery of this concept...that it's called a cake
@inthekitchenwithelisaАй бұрын
I can understand that 😅 Have you ever had a quiche? It is also a pie, but savoury one. So this is kind of a similar concept. We actually have a lot of different kind of savoury cakes, not just sandwich cakes. After I moved to Germany and made my friends and family here try it, they have been asking me to make it again and again😊
@SamSpray-jg9hzАй бұрын
@@inthekitchenwithelisa Yes I suppose you're right, I'd forgotten about the quiche or even the pizza pie, or meat pies. This still seems like a whole other level I don't know why, maybe because it's even frosted and decorated lol but now I know about the sandwich cake, it is a normal thing in the world. I'm sure it tastes... just like a sandwich.

Tip: add the peppers in an empty tea bag (empty bags can be found in common markets. tie the pepper bag with an oven string) to the pot before putting it in to the oven so you don't have the pot full of peppers. full taste and zero pepper picking 😋
@inthekitchenwithelisaАй бұрын
That is such a genius idea! 😍 I sometimes use this kind of metal tea sieve thingy, but never thought of using empty tea bags! Thank you for sharing this, will definitely do this from now on. As I hate picking those peppers or even less biting into some I missed while picking🙈

This is NOT "no fat"!! There are 10 grams of fat from the 2 eggs!! Plus, almond meal is VERY high in fat!!
@inthekitchenwithelisa2 ай бұрын
Hi Kathy, yes, it is also not no sugar in that sense, because dates have a lot of sugar. What is meant is that there is no added fat in the way of butter or oil and no added sugar.

Hi Shane! 😊 It is a great alternative to cream. Many are afraid it will taste like coconut, but it doesn't as all of the rest of the flavours overpower it.
