The screaming and cheering is actually to help hype up the dancers! It tells them that they are doing a good job. If it was dead silent they would think they were doing a terrible job, so cheering and screaming actually helps the performance!!

That was me screaming for my son and his team! Excuse me for being excited and overwhelmed with the joy and happiness I see when I see this team. We are not allowed to see the routine in the making and I am always overwhelmed with joy when I see the power in their faces and the spirit in their movement! I'm a cheerleading coach and I have a loud voice that can be heard across a football field. How dare anyone critize the way I cheer on my son and his team. The team didn't mind! WOW I never thought I would see the day that people are mad because of a mother cheering her son and Teammates on. My adrenaline was pumped, my eyes filled with tears of joy, how dare any of you try to take that away from me! As long as the DIRECTOR, COACHES AND TEAM IS OKAY WITH IT THEN IT SHOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM. MAYBE YOU ALL SHOULD GET UP OFF YOU QUIET ASSES AND CHEER FOR YOUR CHILDREN! THEY LOVE IT!

_to the people complaining about the screams, it's a common thing in dancer culture to scream the performer/s to hype them up. even dancers do it to other dancers. the only environment i could think of where screaming like this is inappropriate is during modern dances or traditional dances. but in hiphop culture, it's completely fine._
