Their cleanliness and execution is...so far beyond their years. Like the fact that they are able to do this as a mega crew, and not just this set but their entire studio...it baffles me. The vibes i get are like eaaaarly Royal family vibes, obviously not their styles but just that....energy? What i feel watching them I feel like im watching the next best thing. 2012-2015 royal family, that fire, and Sienna man...she is going places. They already won gold in the varsity at hhi I really really want them to compete and take a gold in mega crews, I think it would be amazing for them to do and they are so incredibly capable. Their creative team at the lab is insaaaaane aahhhhhhh

Whenever there’s a great upcoming group like The Lab, they will always be compared to the Greatest Dance Group in the World The Royal Family....I like the Lab, not only do they remind me of the RF but they have energy and quite entertaining (not boring)....HHI is no stranger to the Royal Family, their mega crew took Gold 3 years in row....to date they have acquired at HHI 8 golds, 5 silvers & 5 bronze...their highest views on KZbin for a dance video was for Justin Bieber Sorry mv, over 3billion views...will be keeping an eye on this group and will expect great things...xx

I see a lot of people comparing the royal family to the lab but MAYBEEE ITS JUST ME but it think the intensity, skill level, facials, cleanliness, style of the Lab is unmatched so far. They are both amazing!! But something about the Lab is just so aesthetically pleasing, I think their costume choice always adds because when they do very robotic and EXTREME SHARP dances they tend to keep the outfits monochrome which helps to keep a nice flow of where you should be focused and that is their dancing. ANDDD on top of ALLL of this they are all pretty young and still manage to find time to perfect and devote to dancing

Its not so much a comparison between the groups but just looking at it, there is very clear influence from Royal Family. They're good; very good, in fact. But the style is very Royal Family-esque. Preference for one or the other is completely subjective.

Royal family lost appearance a year ago. Parris has new focuses and made up a more boring style now in my opinion. RF was bombass but they lost some if the best dancers starting in 2016 with kiel etc.
