In the Mix/Michael, thank you so much for helping my music production. I’m finally getting skilled enough to actually know what you’re talking about. Whoever is reading this, I’m on a journey to build a following by making good music, bringing value, and supporting people. I’m not in it for the money, I’m in it to be a light in people’s lives, to create positive change. I can see myself raising money for charities consistently. I’m currently on year 2 producing. Come see what I got and watch the growth over the years. Supporting me would make my day.

Thank you mate ! You are one of many few who really understand Parallel compression and use a parallel track to do that. Almost 90% of the tutorials made by 'expert' miss the point and use a mix / dry blend pot.

this is a genius approach to mixing, i've just been stacking plugins in the mixers leading to muddy, sometimes overcompressed tinny results. the way you do it involves much less processing and allows plenty of extra room in the mix for the channel to sit, i appreciate you making a video about it so we can all learn to improve our production skills

are you kidding me?? the ways in which you have allowed me to improve my production is incredible. I had been watching other production youtubers for years and they honestly all they do is talk way to much about random shit, talk down to anyone not as good as them and make everything unnecessarily complicated. Thank you so much !!!

Great technique! I think this is the secret for those really full and profesional mixes. Another alternative, instead of using sends, is patcher. That way the parallel process is easier (everything in one place), very visual and you can check really quick before and after turning on and off patcher. Great video as always!
@inthemix4 жыл бұрын
You're one step ahead of me! Yes patcher would make this so easy, FL Studio has so many perks :)

Woah! Thanks for the tips man. I was trying to make my brass section sound very wide and occupy the whole stereo spectrum and be more upfront by duplicating it, routing it to another track and adding a stereo separation plugin(to make it mono) and adding tons of reverb. But this technique seems much better and I'd have better control doing this. Thanks for the tips man ❤
