I love winter and am a big fan of snow. Living in Arkansas we don’t see a lot of it. I don’t know anyone who owns a snowblower, they are not sold down here. We got 6” a week ago and schools have been out since. I’m 50 years old and have only bought 1 snow shovel in my life. Wood is our primary heat source in my home and we average 1 cord a year. I follow 2 or 3 firewood pages on facebook and I’m surprised how much firewood so many folks up north say they burn. Our toughest part of the winter usually is only a few days and that was last week, we had temperatures below zero at times. We are supposed to be in the 50s in a couple days. This video is something us southerners know very little about. We can’t imagine what it’s like having to deal with all of that. I’d take a few more days of it in exchange for 100° heat and 90% humidity in the summer.

The blue flame is the copper wire from the mobile home. If you take a copper tube 3/4 about 10 inches long, drill drill through both ends about an inch from the ends then put a vinyl garden hose inside the tube. When you have a fire that is relativity small put the tube in and you will have all sorts of colours in it. We use about 6 to 8 tubes everytime we burn. But don't use the colour flames to cook marshmallows or hot dogs with. Cook them before you put the tubes in.

How much power would be needed in a battery chainsaw that would make you buy one .thanks Chris
@InTheWoodyard11 ай бұрын
It is not just the power... it is the initial and ongoing cost, extra batteries, constant charging or dead batteries when you need it and you have to wait to charge, Limited recharges....a lot of my camera batteries life span is 2 years at most and then they won't recharge or only last only 10-15 minutes instead of the 45-60 that a newer one will last. But mostly after 2 years a whole new line will come out and all the "old stuff" is out dated and less useful and you have to start all over again AND the proprietary systems that you are locked into with each brand, land fills full of batteries that do not work and can not be recycled so.....a hamster on a buying wheel.
