Back when I was mentally trying to understand my sexuality I literally had the thought “well if I’m gay I’ll just have to be alone forever because it’ll be too hard for people to understand” and whenever I think about that mindset and how real it was to me I’m shocked I ever thought that way. Like what a disservice it would be to myself to let other people’s discomfort affect my happiness.

I pushed her away. Because of my internalized homophobia. I couldn't hold the thought that I would resent her if something were to happen to my father in the future for choosing us. Sabotaged my relationship with my love. Working on healing this part of me.

Hi Nidhi. I'm also from India... I don't know I should say this or not, I find some of things relatable ... I never been in any relationship.... But inclination towards this community and getting another kind of happiness when any girl ask me out.. 😭😭😭am I really into girls??

Very nice video, this is one subject that crosses all boundaries. I lived in a very rural part of the states and went through the internalized homophobia for almost most of my life. I feel it is a common struggle for the world.

thank you so much for making this video im stuck with a lot of internalised homophobia right now (i dont even know where from; i’m one of the least homophobic people i know but for some reason that isnt applying toward myself) and everything i found to try to deal with this was created by white people (esp white men). and i’m indian, and i’m not a man ! just by watching the first few minutes i really relate ! thank you

@Improviser Honor killing meaning is family murder own family person to protect family reputation in the society . . You are talking about same Sex marriage is difficult , I say oh please check in Indian opposite sex marriage is also difficult and same Sex marriage is next to impossible to many however few are opening up but many are quite doing arrange marriage with no interest .. This is true nothing information is out of box

What state are you from? Because in my experience in my state it is easier to tell you are gay or bi is easier than to tell you are in love with someone from that one other religion. At least for most of the people it is .
