Or you can learn coding languages like python and HTML for double safety net, or just have that instead of also majoring in a science. You don't even have to go to collage for coding and can still get a job. so long as you have what companies are looking for in coding. Before I knew I was INTJ I thought I was a borderline sociopath because of how well I can control my feelings and how I view friendships and the world and my whole way of thinking. I could never understand how ppl always focus on the problem instead of trying to find a solution. Or how they make decisions based on emotions or on a whim, it puzzled me because I thought everyone should be able to think the way that I do, find solutions, question the status quo. Why do they just accept how things are instead of trying to figure it out. Now I know and I am more understanding and at peace, it weird.

I wondered if I was a sociopath because when it came to certain issues I felt no empathy towards others (I cannot for the life of me feel empathy for "he doesn't text me back" type of conversations). I do have many friends, though this was something I worked hard on to achieve. I wasn't comfortable with being seen as unapproachable and approached people instead. You become better at it in time and then confidence follows
@jacobflint31523 жыл бұрын
I literally went down a rabbit hole of psychology trying to determine that very thing. I thought I was a sociopath because I never felt empathy towards others pain, even if I tried to alleviate it. I also had a logic system that I wasn't sure was either far advanced of those surrounding me or just plain flat out wrong (like a defect). Now that I know this is just because of my mental structure and learning behaviors with priorities, I realize that my weaknesses can be remedied now that I am aware of them. We choose our sacrifice, and lead exceptional lives when we so choose to do so. We frame the world as we will. Is a life poor, mediocre, or exceptional? We talk in school, play UNO, do group projects, and gossip, but outside of that we never hang out. And I feel that, even if I consider them my best friends, they wouldn’t consider me their best friend. And I’m always worrying about not being weird, awkward, and maybe mean when I’m around them and I’m always anxious when talking to them afraid that I’ll say something wrong that’ll make them see me in a bad light. I'm apparently an INTJ. When I had to write essays in high school and college, I would become deeply upset if the prompt was something difficult to address, because I had an internal expectation to to "solve" the essay prompt by producing an essay that was indisputable. When I couldn't do that, I felt like a failure even if I got an A on the assignment. I've always become drawn to ideological styles of thinking that attempt to propose axioms that "solve" morality, at least in theory. It's as though I am never content with a way of understanding unless it is comprehensive, or if it is indisputably correct. That's why I think I went into accounting as a profession. It's a field in which there are nearly 0 subjective decisions, in which the rules are already established. But I learned that the absence of opportunities to solve original problems is rather concerting, so I'm not sure I'll be happy doing that the rest of my life. I don't know if I'll ever truly be happy.
@V.Hansen.4 жыл бұрын
You put that need for comprehensive all encompassing truth into words well. It is true. When something doesn't fit into black or white boxes it is hard to deal with. Maybe that's why dealing with social skills is so hard for us. People and the rules for dealing with them are so grey.

INTJ here, according to my research to develop permanent unshakeable confidence, do these step by step: Confidence doesn't just can't be pulled out of your ass tho there are other personality types that can still do that but you need reasons to back up and feel like you are essentially the SHIT! - Go to Gym, and improve style, grooming, looks, fit clothing, etc to get high value superficial confidence. - Currently as you reading this, you exactly know deep down what you should be doing but you keep ignoring it to do some other dumb shit. Cut everyone out for a while and Work on your purpose and make money. I'll take some time but, At this point= Heavy Bank Balance, Body Lookin sexy, Nutrition on point, Looks are sharp, No stress over any debt, Life going GREAT. You start to feel like oh Man, I'm the shit!! And radiate this powerful vibe that people can sense subconsciously. Most people's life just suck(sorry to break the truth) and now you enter with this non-needy value swag radiating positivity. Give some time and You essentially become a drug for these people that they need a constant hit of that positivity to feel Great again with your energy. If you don't develop the confidence like this and try to fake it, people can all see through all in all! You cannot fake confidence, you must become confident. This is the most permanent solution you will find in life for TRUE UNSHAKEABLE CONFIDENCE! Thanks for reading and you loser(just to poke) start taking action and not be like other people that gets settled in mediocrity. Peace

If I'm doing nothing, or "chilling", I feel deeply uncomfortable. I never get an urge to text or call loved ones, and that's made it hard to keep friends (but the best ones stay). My mind is very logical about everything, and once I recognise a challenge I simply have to complete it, but there's an art to it. I'm creative, and like to add mystery to all the logical things in the world, like we're all part of a storybook. It's nicer to think of things that way.

I am an INTJ, 25 yo, a female. Law degree, 5 languages, clinical depression, GAD, only one friend about 15 years and even that is too much sometimes. I dont do things I dont see the point of doing, like: relantionship, sex, clubs, alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, talking to people unless nessesary, etc I was lonely and I will always be. Cause that what I've chosen, or maybe cause I have zero social skills, or maybe cause I am mental 🖤

I'm a female INTJ, and back in school when we had to write homework essays, I would get so pissed off at my teachers who wouldn't allow me to fully expand on my perspective of the topic. I always have so much to say and analyse, but they kept saying its over the top and irrelevant. I used to find it so frustrating having to deal with their lack of will to really understand the depths of my opinions, that I literally stopped doing the homework altogether. If I do something, I either do it my way in a perfectionistic manner, or I don't do it at all.

"Independent, confident, ambitious, strategic" To be independent, it requires you to be confident. This is my biggest problem as I have zero self confidence. Any advice to overcome this?
@anthonyvanlian17394 жыл бұрын
Lie to yourself, just try and act confident, I know not much help but it’s the best I can give you. If you want specific techniques, when keeping your hands in your pockets, stick out your thumbs, and when your elbows are on the table or just whenever, touch your fingertips together to make an arch. I know this isnt much but body language can be the first step to gaining confidence. Best of luck
@cecillian96964 жыл бұрын
@@anthonyvanlian1739 thank you so much for the tips! Gonna practice it and yeah, I think body language helps us to look a lil bit tough so people won't underestimate us easily.
@blitz-sports98044 жыл бұрын
Cecillian main source of confidence is ‘past successful experiences’. So think about your successful experiences (and as many details as you can about how you handled a situation) in relation to what you are doing. If you are about to give a presentation and don’t have previous experience, think about the times you shared your knowledge and people liked it or accepted it. Going to a job interview, think about the times you talked well to a person with higher power. And use imagery to practice your confidence in different situations (imagine your body language and tone in a scenario you want to practice, and try to fix the mistakes and then repeat the imagery). It needs practice, but you can build it effectively with good practice.

INTJ. The biggest issue I had as a child wasn't the lack of friends, though that was unpleasant, it was religion. I'm from a very religious area/family and from the time I could talk, I was questioning their belief in something that has no basis in logic. I'm an atheist now, but as soon as I read the book, the plot holes, inconsistent teachings and general "conform or suffer" message, I had questions. I pissed off so many parishioners just trying to get an answer that wasn't based on faith/hope/feeling, eventually my family stopped forcing to attend. I rambled on a bit. Question: How many INTJ personality types are atheists? Let me know.
@mathisr.442 жыл бұрын
I'm a Christian INTJ here, I understand where you are coming from. Looking at religion from the surface it can sound like there are a lot of inconsistencies and irregularities within them. Even though I believe in God and his existence, I too had questions regarding the logic behind certain religious ideas and texts. Thankfully, upon doing plenty of research and doing my best to read my holy book (the Bible) within the correct context, a lot of questions that I had started to make sense. The reason why I was confused before was because I either read it out of context or the religious leaders at my church didn't know what they were talking about when I asked them certain questions about the Bible. Sadly, that can happen.

✋🏻 I’m an atheist INTJ
@hamcrazy962 жыл бұрын
I’m an agnostic theist simply because the benefits of believing in god outweighs the benefits of not believing in god. Being a nihilist is cool and all in the right context. I believe not only is there psychological benefits in believing in god (i.e. when you’re down bad completely exhausted or lacking hope sometimes it’s a good thing to believe there is a god out there.) but also in the sense that it makes me more relatable out in the world dealing with evangelical Christians and what not, I already have struggles relating to anybody, but being on the same page is essential to expressing my real ideas without seeming like an alien to other people. In all honesty I don’t believe in god, he hasn’t done anything in millennia, humans on many many occasions throughout history has predicted the 2nd advent of Christ and their predictions have failed everytime. If there really is a god he created life millions of years ago but left us, because in reality humans have complete totality on how we think and what we do even if we’re all individuals we think collectively without knowing it sometimes. Deeper still I believe god is just a fabrication of the human mind to understand the physics, the cruelty, and nature of the real world it is easier for humans to take a complex sets of systems or life and simply attribute it all to god. TLDR christianity was just another step in modern human evolution

I too grew up in a religious household and I remember during my teenage years I would be so excited to debate pastors and point out to them how they were wrong. Religion is something that interests me. Not just the Christian religion but all of them. Sorry that this isn’t a direct answer to your question but I just wanted to share that I’ve def had the same feelings about religion. I still do.

I grew up an INTJ, and now after college I am an ENTJ, but I still feel like this type of person. The only difference is that I lost the desire to spend lots of time learning, and replaced it with wanting time to socialize and be with other people no matter what I'm doing.
@kyleciotti14584 жыл бұрын
This is very healthy for INTJ to step into the ENTJ category. It allows you to strengthen your social skills & support network. It's extremely important to deconstruct and reconstruct how social dynamics work. Anyone's true personality is pinpointed by the concentration of data points on the Myers Briggs chart over a period of time. If you're truly INTJ you'll eventually take a step back and realize you're a social magnet. And, because of this fact, we drown out the noise to stay focused with our goals/ideas. It's an energy drain veering into ENTJ territory.. but it's a neccessary social tool for us to sharpen. All people are attracted to a well developed INTJ. It is up to each and every INTJ to balance the development of all their skillsets. But, if you're like me you must pick a skill one at a time and do it with 100% precision.
@cosmicviking68293 жыл бұрын
This personality type is on par with Alexander the Great. It is a cool personality because it is on par with many other aspects of amazing people in history. World builders, War planners, and leaders. Opportunity meets your preparedness. When I was younger I asked my mother "don't you feel like you were born to do something special?" Almost like a quote out of a Disney movie. I felt like Hercules and finding the place where I belong. I didn't want to settle for being rich with a good job, that's not how Empires are built. My mother and father both just said they wanted good jobs that paid well to survive, and they got what they wanted. Seeing how smart they were and that they were limited by their ambitions frustrated the Hell out of me. You will be pushed back and broken and sometimes feel as though you are no longer special or even question your personality, but that only serves as an affirmation that you have it. Just remember that most people born as Architects change the world in one way or another. They rise to the top, and if society doesn't let them then they skirt around the social system. If you haven't done it yet, it just means your time isn't here. When your moment does arrive, you will remember all the pain and loneliness you endured and use it as fuel and a firm resolution to do what you want to do.

The fact that people identify with these personality types really pisses me off. In no way do these personality types deeply define you - also if you are lonely and fall under an "INTJ" category, maybe try doing something about it - I mean, I get INTJ as well, but honestly according to these videos we see the world as a structure that we can "deconstruct" or more like a chess board - which I think is true in most cases; so use it to your advantage and make the right moves. I'm thinking a lot of INTJ's are anti-social crybabies who cant figure the world out and waste their potential because they expect things to be handed to them. Fact - even if you put in the effort you might not win the game. That doesn't mean you should stop playing though, because eventually you will win if you make the right moves.
