Don’t part company. Don’t allow yourself to be urged on, into tight squeezes alone. Being ‘pinned’ in that situation would be horrible. You’d be forcing your friends to come in after you, when they initially didn’t want to? You’re making really interesting vids, I am enjoying them, when I’m not cringing and peering through my fingers, that is. Thank you fellas.

@ActionAdventureTwins

Petty johns cave is a sacrificial cave, that has had way worse done to it than scooping a little mud out of the way to get into new areas. And the area we were in floods everytime it rains so new mud will simply wash back into place eventually
@robokid20001

No wonder my FSU caving club would take special trips to NorthGeorgia/Alabama. I did not have back then the rope skills! Everyone of those waterfalls that stream into a room or passage comes from somewhere. Might be a long cave up above and the entrance too. I am curious as to why no one seems to find where all the waters go to! I suspect that many many springs that are at the bottom of a limestone layer of rock are the exit point for a cave. Probably the tunnel gets real small or that this tunnel goes underwater. Thus few caves have an exit that can be exited from. I once walked around a small cave then noticed as I came to a "T" intersection, a stream of water was in it. Come to find out that there was an exit maybe 1000 feet away, an exit that might have been all of 12" by 8". Also, the entrance maybe 2000 feet away was also the same size. If it were not for that middle large entrance this cave would be forever hidden from exploration.

@@ActionAdventureTwins Yeah, you guys should definitely get with a local grotto out there, especially in that relatively cave-heavy area. You'll get access to so many more awesome private caves that aren't publicly open like PettyJohn's is. Love the videos you guys are doing so far though! It's awesome to be able to get new people invested in it. And yeah, there's still a lot of PettyJohns past mile 7. I think there's a video on YT of a guy going out that far and there's still tons more passages. I really want to set up a trip to get out that far, but you need decent vertical gear past the 2nd waterfall.

@@robokid20001 we have been past the second waterfall and no vertical gear was needed! we made it all the way into high anxiety though the fissure lead it actually just connects into the breakdown pile shown in the stream passage! we havent made it too far into schreibers extension but if the character of the cave stays the same pretty much throughout; then it is mostly just very low crawls and ducking in stream passage, nowhere near as bad as getting out to the outer limits past pulverizer. let us know anytime you want to come out to these places with us we are starting to know how to get there like the back of our hand. we started by knowing nothing about the cave just a couple years ago but have almost explored all the known mapped portions by now just not the very ends and we are definitely ready to finish exploring them and keep pushing further
