It’s a pretty big change, when I got my quest 3, one of the first thing I did was check into the radius. Also, FUNNI MAN UPLOAD!!!!

Right dude??? I was taken by surprise. The Quest 3 looks superrrrr clear, and it's insane how big of a difference all of that extra processing power makes when you're playing the standalone version of ITR

Very minor differences in any of the games I've played that have the quest 3 update. There's still a ton of jaggies and the main slight difference is they will add shadows and were all supposed to be impressed. Anyone saying there's a major difference is lying for sure.

You can get a quest 3S now but it’s essentially the quest 2 with the SOC of the quest 3. The quest 3 will actually enhance your pcvr sessions because the lenses and screen is a lot better.

Does the quest 3 have more visible screen door effect becuse of the lenses used? In some reviews, people mention this aspect and even point out that Quest 2 has less SDE because the Frensel lenses were built to hide some of the screen door effect. So despite the higher resolution in the Q3, sde is more visible than in older headset.

how about screen door effect? i can't see the pixels on quest 2, some say you can see individual pixels on quest 3 and therefore the screen effect is anoying. please help before i get my quest 3.

when i compared the two pc vs quest 3 i noticed at least all i could tell was that it had a shadow of my hands in front of any lights im wearing vs mobile and oddly enough there was a table that had cake on it that was missing in quest version i didnt see that table

While the graphics are ok on quest 3 the fact that the view distance is so low actually impacts game play in quite a big way. I'd rather have less detailed graphics and a longer view distance

the game distorts and pixels come on screen every like 20 minutes on my quest 3 maybe its the difference on fov from quest 2 to 3 but idk

This is a question about into the radius 2. Do you think it would work with a quest 2 over pcvr with a link cable. I'd like to get the game but I'm to broke to upgrade my headset but I also don't want to fry my quest 2

For pc vr the pc is what is doing the rendering, the quest 2 is just acting as a video out put, like a monitor with motion tracking, you should be able to play into the radius 2 just fine provide your pc can run it comfortably

As someone considering getting vr but having never touched it could i use a quest 2 hooked up to my pc for better graphics? The quest 2 price looks better but i hate potato graphics and dont wanna regret the purchase. But if connecting to your pc gives better results i dont wanna waste money on the quest 3

yes you can. quest 2 only serve as a monitor strapped on your head. Just imagine quest 2 as cheap monitor and quest 3 are higher. So its like choosing monitor.

Consider the following : *You need to play wired and have a decent performance of 60+ FPS , otherwise it's gonna drop in quality and lag like hell. Optimize your settings. Also optimize the Quest 2 settings, you can find a sweetspot of good resolution/performance while still getting decent battery life. *You can go wireless, however you need a wifi5 router. I found one used for about 20 euros...it was worth it. *** The only AAA game is Half Life Alyx. Comes with lots of different mods, one of the best is Gunman: Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. Half Life is mindblowing, worth the experience.

Cant get into the radius to run smoothly on my rtx3080 ryzen 5800 rig. other games run perfectly but this one just shits its pants as soon as there is some stuff going on (multiple enemies, multiple anomalies)

I can tell you that the quest 3 is completely mind-blowing going from using a quest 2 since it was out (which is what I did) I first got my quest 2 in 2020 and it astonished me and I just recently got the meta quest 3 and it's a whole new thing. Colored passthrough is awesome and in this video you can't really tell but the quest 3 definitely increased the way these games look. I've replayed lots of games I got from my years playing quest 2 and they look so much better, so I think the meta quest 3 is a way better investment if you're looking for incredible graphics as well as performance.

Well lol this is a 1st.. the recording on the quest 2 is better vs Quest 3 which comes out worse? Odd your the only one so far that has said this. Whats the rez différance? Then Quest 3 25 Quest 2 20. Screen door effect? Yeah quest 3 has some of that. I don't know why people do this. I got to try one got al the past Quests then Steam blah blah blah. You can buy two quest 2's for the price of one Quest 3. Thanks but anyone that wants one just make SURE you can return it. There is a reason why the Quest 3 is not selling. They already pulled back the sales for 2024 because of this. You don't loose 15 billion 2022, 11 billion 2023 and just bounce back. Even pico stopped making Pico 5. They are going after Apple. Quest 3 is the best you can get for Meta games because there is nothing else. Its by far not the best for PC vr games.

Totally agree to quest three blows away everything else for for the money! Another thing if you play a lot of contractors or other shooters where there’s multiplayer… The spatial audio is 1 million times better… You can totally tell where somebody is by their footsteps like if they’re coming up on your left or your right or behind you or below you it’s clear like it is in real life… It’s giving me a huge advantage over people playing those games
