My original plan was to wait until the Icelandic version would be out in HQ, but then I found myself with an urge to make a video and desperate for ideas. So, in the end I went on with this, leaving Icelandic behind (guys, when are you going back to releasing your soundtracks?).

Swedish here: I didn't like her as much in the second movie. I have heard she was sick when they dubbed the second movie which would explain why she doesn't seem to reach her apex of greatness. Regardless, she is still really good at acting and just express emotion. I would say Danish is the better singer and Swedish is the better actress. Not to say that they are bad, they just are a little better than each other in different ways. Swedish absolutely destroys in the last third of Let it Go though. As for Norwegian, I don't really like her.

Awww so bad that Icelandic does not have the HQ yet because I find it is fascinating that Icelandic has somehow the same vibes in its lyrics if it is compared to her Scandinavian sisters. Plus some of its lines are quite similar with them. Nordic Elsas really nail their performance but my favourite here is Danish.

@@FlamSparks Jag vet inte om det är för att jag förstår vad Annika sjunger bättre, mycket möjligt, but I connect a lot better with her. Ledsen för språk stiftet men ibland är engelska exakt det man behöver för att säga det man vill. I början av Slå Dig Fri, tycker jag att Annika är väldigt bra på att låta ledsen men även låta som att hon fortfarande håller tillbaka någonting. Sedan släpper hon progressivt loss mer och mer och vid "Here i stand, in the light of day" biten så är hon bara perfekt. Jag tycker definitivt Maria är den bättre sångerskan och om du hade frågat mig vem, om någon, hade sjungit den bästa höga noten i Into the Unknown så hade jag inte ens varit överraskad när det visar sig vara Maria. Om någon så är det hon utan någon tvekan. Förresten, om det inte är för personligt att fråga, var kommer du ifrån och hur kommer det sig att du pratar för språk som du gör :)? Om jag kommer ihåg rätt så studerade du i Sverige?

Det är inte för personligt alls, oroa dig inte ^^ Jag kommer från Italien och det stämmer, jag var på Erasmus i Sverige förra året: bodde i Uppsala i ett år. Om mina språk...mitt enda modersmål är italienska (jag snackar ett lokalt språk lite också, som heter venetianska, men jag är inte flytande i det), resten har jag lärt mig senare på olika sätt, för jag är en språkfanatik. Jag har pluggat franska i flera år nu (började i grundskola när jag var 11, när jag fick välja mellan franska, spanska eller tyska...inte riktigt ett val, men jag tyckte det var synd att låta det dö ut bara). Sen började jag plugga koreanska på universitet men insåg att det var inte precis "mitt" språk, så bytte jag till svenska, men jag försöker inte låta mitt koreanska dö heller. Norska och danska (isländska och fornnordiska på en mycket lägre nivå) tror jag att jag inte behöver förklara x) Samma sak med spanska, som jag förstår genom italienska, men jag använder det inte lika mycket....borde vara allt x)

If in the previous movies Annika was contending as well for the Nordic throne with Maria Lucia, now it should be clear to all the ears that the latter totally slayed this song into pieces. By the way, both transitions and visual editing were great! The passages between the languages were undetectable and the flags fading away couldn't be more on point! 1:47 pm here and there's no "Terra incognita?!" coming over the horizon yet. Over and out.

If Maria missed anything in Frozen 1, now the only acceptable battle is for the second place. To her perfect vocal control, she adds so much passion, going from frail to enthusiastic. She is an Elsa who has seriously learnt to let it all go. Elsa couldn't possibly ask for a better interpretation of her character.

Ooooh se mi tiri in ballo Hercules, allora ti piace vincere facile XD La versione italiana di quel film è stata premiata dalla Disney come miglior doppiaggio a livello mondiale. Ora, è vero che la Disney ha premiato versioni che magari se lo meritavano meno di altre e le loro scelte possono essere effettivamente discutibili, ma in questo caso, direi che ci hanno visto proprio giusto. La versione italiana di Hercules è indubbiamente una delle migliori e i doppiaggi italiani, in linea di massima, ritengo che si difendano molto bene, riconfermandosi spesso come molto validi. Certo, questo non significa che non ce ne siano di migliori o che quello italiano sia garantito essere un buon doppiaggio a prescindere: a mio modesto parere, la versione italiana di Rapunzel è tra i doppiaggi più imbarazzanti sia del film in questione che tra quelli italiani in generale. Diciamo che dovresti ascoltare molte versioni di molti film per farti un'idea di quali siano delle buone soluzioni alternative sia a quelle italiane che a quelle inglesi (perché questa è la cosa che mi piace di più di questi doppiaggi: ti fanno vedere che il mondo è molto più vasto che Italia-USA).
