Matt: This is by far the best KSP content ever created. With the delay of KSP2, i was getting pretty bored of just mission builds by all creators. Yours and especially these movie series, bring a whole new, ever more entertaining aspect. The amazing use of camera tools, story, dialogue is beyond beyond astounding and more engaging than MOST block buster movies. I have watched the first 10 minutes and have stopped. I need to watch this tonight on my 70" TV with a glass of We-Hiskey tonight on the rocks, surround sound at max and strap myself in my red recliner couch with my NASA jacket on. They were on the capsule alongside a heatshield and a decopuler, so kerbals made it probably with intent of crew return to kerbin, however decopuling would doom components they used in basebuilding. Idk why (aside for visual drama of explosion) they didnt light the engines right before splashdown to lower the impact's energy. Perhaps they actually care about radioactive plumes. Would make a cool mechanic ingame

From the thumbnail I can already tell that Matt used the dark color variant for the nose cone. It always infuriates me when people don't use different color variants on the parts. For example that exact cone's default color is the black and white stripes, which look horrible in the nose of a shuttle.

Very well done on this short film! I was a bit skeptical with not much expectations from a Kerbal Space Program film. But it turned out to be way better than what I expected. I love how it kind of had all sorts of elements into it from your other series such as Life on Laythe, Blunderbirds, various SSTO videos, and all sorts of things.
