Super video Andy, good quality and what countryside! You've chosen well. Looks absolutely fantastic. What a lake, what a forest!! Shocked to see such a kind shout out for me - that's very generous of you. Thank you. Good luck with the crossbow and I look forward to the next video. I'm off to watch again on my desktop (had first and slightly rushed watch out on a field bench with Ben. Dark and wet night and cheered me up to see you doing well!). Best wishes, Mick

Outstanding Andy!!! There's channels with hundreds of thousands of subs that would of made a dozen individual videos out of the skills you showed in this video. Your killing them with the garbage that most of them have been posting recently. Your channel is going to be huge! And you deserve it mate. How did you get them scars on your hand, if you don't mind me asking? They look bad! Great stuff, can't wait for the next part. atb, Wolf
@ClanGunnBushcraft7 жыл бұрын
Wolf Thanks Wolf, that's real kind of you brother. I'll be out again in a few days recording another one of my little adventures, I hope you enjoy it!? No, not at all... My left hand is a bit of a mess! Two main injuries... The scar along my thumb was from when I was 13, I was out in the woods by myself and I was carving a bit of wood and I slipped off the wood and accedentally cut my rist and up to the top of my thumb. Nearly bled out as I cut one of my main veins in my rist. Totally my fault. I managed to flag down a car and they took me to hospital. 26 stitches. The second scar that runs from my palm to the top of my middle finger was a year later. To get to an area I use to camp in, I had to climb over a fence with spikes on the top. I slipped and the spike went through the palm of my hand. I was hanging there for 20 minutes calling for help, but no one came. I had to use my body weight to yank myself down. The spike tore down my hand and ripped my middle finger off. Luckily, I picked up my finger and took it with me. Had to have surgery to re-attach my tendons and finger. 21 years later and I still have problems with it. Some times I close my hand to a fist and the middle finger stays up 🖕 haha. Again, totally my fault, I was trespassing on the land, hence the spiked fence. Thanks for watching bro, take care. Andy

A great camp and impressive job on the arrows, Andy. As I live and wander in an area with bears, wolves, coyotes, cougars, bobcat, etc., I find it interesting to hear your take on predators -- I usually forget that UK is basically predator-free. Looking forward to your further Bulgarian adventures. All the best, Jeff.
@ClanGunnBushcraft7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Jeff. Yeah, the scariest thing in the UK woodland are the Squirrels. Some of them are pretty big ya know! haha. This was recorded nearly two weeks ago. I had softwear problems and posting it was delayed. Iv spent 9 of the past 12 days out camping and exploring. There's nothing to worry about! Feral dogs were a worry at first, as I don't think they fear humans like most other critters, but I seen a pack of three last Friday and they were scared of me. None of the predators will stop me doing what I want to do. I believe in fate. What happens, happens. Do they not bother yourself? Suppose being brought up around them, they wouldn't!? Cheers bro and take care.
@RandomButtonPusher7 жыл бұрын
I've had my bear encounters and they get the heart racing. Can't get oblivious in the forest here, though many folks do. I carry bear spray these days -- glad they invented it, and it works on dogs and tweekers as well. Clean camps and alert hiking (with noise when visibility is low) generally are enough to keep things safe.
@ClanGunnBushcraft7 жыл бұрын
Good idea, they sell bear spray and the projectile shooting type of stun guns in the local store. I'll get some and always stay alert. Thanks Jeff, appreciate the tips. Take care buddy.
