Into Wyoming And Back In A Jeep Wrangler

Access to the north side of the Unitas is best done through Wyoming. With loads of backroads, we have never been on I was excited to take the whole family on an adventure to Wyoming and back. We camp near Hoop lake. Drive through the Uinta mountains until we reach Flaming Gorge and then make our way down to Red Fleet State Park just outside Vernal Utah.

It’s nice that you got to take the whole family out. I was happy to hear another dad that sounds like me trying to keep his kids safe around the campsite. Haha I love the Native American sites scattered around Utah; it’s one of the many great things I’ve enjoyed during my limited visits to the state.

My grandmother's family did the Handcart/Pioneer thing as well. They ended up in southern Utah by the late 1800s. Great video

Jared, I think you would love a book called "Some Dreams Die" by Thompson - I think. It is full of documented accounts of old ghost towns, abandoned mines, and lost treasures in Utah. Great channel.

@@BackroadExploration Hey if you wouldn't mind I live in northern Utah, north of Salt Lake City. I wanna be able to take that trail you took all the way to the Dutch John area but I don't know where the trails are nor which way to go while on the trails. next time you go their and film it could you show like a map of where your going? Or a map showing what trail you take?
