again I will remind you labor and job reports and not leading indicators, at best this shows what labor looked like mid December and even , this a prelim report and wont get the full December report for a few more weeks. Great work as always if you look at the past recession, labor report take 2- 3 months to confirm the draw downs in the stock market

disagree - every analysis pretty much boils down to: "heres why it might go up, and heres why it might go down." no one really knows what is going to happen next (except for maybe a handful of whales), especially on the daily/weekly charts. when it does move significantly in either direction, they then come up with a story that they they think explains the move. ben does this too of course, he just does it at a high quality because hes a good teacher and makes interesting points, like the one we are discussing.
