I appreciate Dr. Charles Stanley for hearing this message. For years I felt I was different because as a child a kid said I had a big nose. Then in my teens I was told this all into adulthood. Now I know why I felt inferior. Thank you after all these years of feeling inferior that God created me in his image, I am uniquely made for his purpose and not to be compared to anyone else. Thank you heavenly Father for making me this way and loving us for your purpose. I will share this message for anyone who feels inferior.

For 25 years I worked in the legal field. During that time, I was repeatedly treated with arrogance and rudeness by the attorneys. Until one day, I prayed and asked God to help me stop feeling inferior. Do you know what He did? He told me that “Nobody makes you feel badly about yourself unless you give them permission.” He was right! That gave me the incentive to focus on myself and God …. and not on them!! Thank you for this message. ❤

While living in ATL I had the opportunity to attend First Baptist Atlanta when Dr. Stanley was the senior pastor. So very, very fortunate to sit under his teaching and ministry. I also met Dr. Stanley many years ago in an Office Depot at the old Lindberg Plaza where Home Depot and Target are now. I was working for Office Depot then and Dr. Stanley came in looking for a refill for a favorite pen he would write with. A gentle and remarkable man.

More than a few years back, I had the opportunity to briefly speak to Pastor Stanley after one of his sermons. We spoke about our shared passion, photography. What I remember most of that conversation was not the subject we spoke about but, the aura of peace and gentleness that surrounded this man. Truely, I will never, ever, forget our encounter.

Feeling of inferiority 1. Early childhood: they feel that at home, it comes from parents or any person 2. Comparison: between the family 3. Circumstances: criticism or verbal aggression How to deal with it 1. We are his workmanship: we are his master piece 🧩 2. We are created for his purpose: he created us for our unique purpose 3. Understand God's love for you: you change your feeling completely 4. Understand God's expectations of you: he doesn't expect us to be sinless but just keep going spite of our faults Two things ✓ Trust him ✓ Follow him If you still feel inferior no matter how beautiful, handsome, rich or blessed you are

I would add one more thing that the Lord expects of us: obedience. Obedience implies submission. Submission implies belief that He knows what’s best for us. It took me many years to finally submit to His will for my life with regard to remarriage. When I finally submitted and told him that it was up to Him, I felt a peace I had not ever felt. This is what He wanted from me, and I held it back. When I think about this, I grieve. Yet, the grief, turns to gratitude for He blessed me with a godly husband a few months later. All praise to our mighty King Jesus.

@dankoohns658210 ай бұрын
Listen to his message here. Jesus died to pay that debt of sins so once you repent and ask for his forgiveness you will learn also to forgive yourself. That feeling of inferiority is a choice to either forgive yourself for having the same weaknesses we all have or not forgive yourself and see yourself as less than. Forgive yourself and hold your head up, just by recognizing your own shortcomings you are not inferior in this world.
