I have listened to Charles Stanley, since I was a child and as I have become mother and as I have stepped into a cancer diagnosis and as I am healing, I just continue to see, how much of a blessing he must be to so many people and I want others to hear this message that he shares, in each one of the sermons he gives.

I am 63...I was saved at 18 but I went to work in a very rugged environment in a very isolated part of northern Ontario and forgot about god. I will prophecy to all DO NOT DO THAT..I WAS A LOST LONELY SOUL FOE THE NEXT 45 YEARS OF MY LIFE. I have re-committed myself to christ and have prayed for forgiveness every day . @Bertrand De Myth His voice is so comforting, in his earlier years he had a touch of harshness in his voice, but now that he has grown mature he has the right kind of voice to break through barriers and helps us to understand what Our Father and Our Lord Christ Jesus is saying. I wish that a lot more people would listen to his teaching now because through Christ Pastor Stanley has led me to reading the Holy Bible more than I used to and now I am older and I don't take Our Father or Our Christ Jesus' Word for granted. Sometimes I have to read it several times to really get it because I want His Word living in my heart, spirit and soul and Pastor Stanley is the best help to remind us to stay the course and this message today was so helpful to me that I will listen to it again and meditate on what he spoke. I am mind-blown with this simple truth! I’ve been a Christian since I was 10, and today, at 40, I just realized I was doing it all wrong. I always pictured Christ watching me from the outside, and sometimes, it was even hard to picture him. My view of him was so small. But now, coming to the realization that HE is inside of me changes everything!!!! I’m exhausted trying to do it on my strength. Now that he’s in me, there is nothing He can’t accomplish through me. This helped me so much. I was saved, and even delivered from years of drug abuse, having gotten prayed for, and went away well, no drug withdrawal, and made totally well. I was surely new on the inside, and was anxiously awaiting Jesus's return. I really felt like a stranger in this world, having been set free,and my eyes opened to the truth of the Gospel. However, after a few years, I began reading a Christian book on getting healed from old wounds, and prayed a prayer at the end of the book, and asked for the bruises of rejection growing up to be brought to the surface, so I could let the Lord deal with it, and get healed and totally forgive everyone for the abuse.In a few weeks, I was in a hospital for major depression, and went from one to another for many years, with PTSD, major depression, and every other name for my condition that psychiatrists could come up with! I felt like my emotions were raw, coming to the surface to be healed, however after awhile I reasoned that I couldn't live and get well without slaving over the pain with drugs, so eventually, thinking I couldn't handle the blunt of the pain without drugs,I went back to using opiates, codeine pills, for panic attacks and severe depression and anxiety. I told the Lord I had to go back to living the old way because I couldn't walk in newness of Life and get to know God because God is all Truth, and without getting healed, and living in denial, I couldn't grow as a Christian. Needless to say, I turned away, not really wanting to leave God, but believing I couldn't grow and be healed, and I didn't know how to live any other way. After some years, I believed my mind was reprobate, and couldn't come back to the Lord, although sometimes when I prayed, God would answer it, right away, so then I tried to think that maybe I wasn't passed the point of repentance, so I'm seeking Him for deliverance, and to come back into my heart. Do you think I still have hope?

It's been so difficult for me to become disabled. God is so good to us! I know that has me where he wants me to be. It is so difficult to give up doing things that I am used to doing.
