Hi Sir, What if I person is on pgwp working with the same employee for more than 2 years he got LMIA excempt work permit Category C20 with the same employer do he need to wait one more year under close wp to claim 50 points for job offer??

can this ict job offer be used as valid job offer for bc pnp tech program ? bc pnp tech requires you to have a job offer with at least 120 days remaining and for one year. ICT jopb offers are usually of fixed duration ranging from a year to a few years, but perhaps they do not require a local recruitment effort, I am not sure this can be used for bc pnp tech program where employer also needs to fill employer job offer form where they need to mention recruitment effort details (although no lmia needed).

When I apply for Express Entry after being in Canada for 1 year as ICT, and if my employer is ready to give me a job offer for the same position for another 2 years from now so that I could attach it to my EE application later, should this job offer have LMIA or an LMIA-exempt job offer (with a C12 exemption code) would work?

Hi Stanislav, it doesn't need to be an LMIA job offer. That's the biggest benefit of ICT, LMIA is not required.

Hello Rashid, I have two questions assuming the employer is willing to send the employee via ICT: 1. If the employee wants to get married before going to Canada, should he get married before starting the visa process or after getting a work permit? The aim of asking this question is to know whether it will affect ICT in any way. 2. Will the spouse be required to show proof of funds (while applying for an open work permit) if the employee is already working there on ICT? Really appreciate your help!

I have not completed 1 year with my employer yet. So I cannot go for ICT at the moment. But I have filed an application for Express entry. By the time I finish 1 year with my employer, my application will have been 6 months old. So even if I manage an ICT from my employer, if I work for him/her in Canada for a year, my express entry application will have been expired by then. Can you suggest what should I do in cases like this ? Do I look for another Job offer with LMIA or I can still opt for ICT (if eligible) and somehow get an advantage to my existing express entry application? Please advice

Hi Rashid, One question, Is it like we have to complete one year's experience to attain 50 points or it will be added into CRS score as soon as someone has a job offer. Suppose somebody has a profile already and he shifted to Canada by his company by intra transfer. As soon as he will land he will get 50 points for it I believe. 1-year Experience has separate points and job offer separately. Please enlighten here.

How to Apply for Intra Company Transfer Work Permit? The process of applying for an intra-company work permit depends on the nationality of the applicant. If the applicant is from the visa-exempt nationals they can apply for the intra-company transfer work permit at the port of entry(POE). If the Intra-company transfers to Canada from the US they can apply at POE. Even the waiting period will be less for them. Others have to apply online.
