I still dont get how come Intravenous wasn't more popular after all this time. Hopefully that will change soon enough. Loved Intravenous since the first came out years ago.

Played the first one, wasn't impressed by it. It felt more trial and error and constant loading saves. Stealth feels hit or miss and combat is pretty much slaughtering enemies rushing through a door or getting shot offscreen. One thing I liked was the AI behaviour. They actually adapt and have self preservation, except rushing through doorways when in group. And aimlessly roaming around the levels till you reach the destination. What does the sequel improves?

I think it lacks the charm and story that bigger titles like hotline Miami had. Its a very decent game and very fun at times, but not something that would ever stay in the zeitgeist for long.

The first game is great. This one is even better. A great example of how game development should be. You take the formula and the mechanics that made your previous game great and improve them even further. Thanks for these awesome games

The game has bullet time for the main character, he gets limited charges each level giving him a few seconds of slowmo. The character you play as in some side missions has automatic slow mo when he's attacked by large groups of enemies at once.
