52:13 Oliver put additional drugs in the bottle, so the death would look like an overdose. The family was embarrassed and afraid of the Daily Mail etc talking about them so they just wanted it to go away quietly. This trait is what ultimately let Oliver destroy the family. Like you said, the breathing tube would be more problematic to explain away, but we only see what happens just after. Consequences can still catch up with him.

I love that people are still watching this I love this movie. Barry made decisions he said HAD TO BE MADE im not mad at him 😂 but no really they did some amazing work here and I support the crew and the decisions they made it was controversial and thought provoking and people weren’t sure why. It’s about consumption. They were all devouring. This time the middle class man was the one on top. there’s a lot to say about obsession and us being masochists. Needing to see suffering and being drawn to it, being an observer in order to really feel it. Meanwhile a bit of our own suffering is made up and self inflicted. That’s all notes about society. Good ass movie.

52:45 I liked the movie overall but the theatrical release did feel more like a director's cut with additional minutes in there that could have been shed for a tighter storytelling.
