Make Polymer Clay Snowflakes... I'll show you how. They look complicated, but they're really easy when you break down the individual design components.

Aww, thank you very much. It really is something to get used to. Then if I get too comfortable, then it's like I'm talking to myself & I start mumbling 😂 It's like a no win...but I'll get there... eventually At least if I do a voice over, I can edit it or do it over & over til I get it right. 😂 Thank you so much for watching, my dear ❤️

Absolutely love these!!!! Pink and glitter are my favorite things in crafting!!!! I’m still new-ish to polymer clay and wish I could create all day long. Something that I enjoy listening to like AMSR is the sound the tools make when you, or someone, is sorting though them that clanking around. 😂 and also the sound of the clay being plopped down on the glass or tile work surface. I know, strange. 🤷‍♀️ I cannot wait to get started on this. This will be so much fun. I have two grandsons that are eight and 10 years old that are brothers and they love creating clay creations with me. Particularly the eight year old. I have some extra tools and I asked him if he wanted them for Christmas. He was all excited. There was one time we were decided to play a trick on mommy and made some doggy Doodoo. It looked crazy real. They have a small dog so when the time was right, the 10 year-old brought it out and put it on the carpet. He got mama good! Thankfully, she thought it was funny too! 😂😂 it’s so fun when they come over because they always want to play with clay with me!!! Being a grandma is the best! Particularly when the grandkids are interested in your hobby. But I think Caine, the 8 year old, could really get quite good at it because he’s already quite creative in other art areas. He loves to draw. He’s always drawing me pictures. And I save everyone of them. Sorry for the long comment. I’m quite the talker lol. Also, I want to add thank you so much for the idea of making your own needle tools. I saw something similar about using sewing needles and adding clay to them for other things in polymer clay but I didn’t even think about doing what you’ve done. And I really like the idea of the tool holder. when Walmart opens back up tomorrow, or one of the craft stores, I’m gonna go over there and get some sewing needles, and do that very thing. Excellent idea! And some fine, iridescent glitter!

Hi Michelle 👋 I'm so glad that you enjoyed the video! It's great to hear that your little ones enjoy art & crafts with you. My Mom & Dad saw those artistic interests in me when I was very young, & always encouraged & nurtured them. I'm so very thankful for that. You know, the ASMR thing with the tools....in my very 1st video, I left those sounds in the video. I just lowered the volume on the original audio, but you can still hear it underneath the music. I loved hearing those sounds along with the music. I was just thinking the other day that I need to go back to doing it that way. Maybe I will...at least sometimes. The poop bit was really funny, BTW 😂 Thank you for watching & commenting. I hope you decide to stick around & subscribe 😊

You asked if any of us make a plan, then switch up as we're working? YESSS, yes that's exactly how i work lol btw, i didn't hear your chair once, and i neeeeed to tell you! Your work here is amazing! I'm an instant subscriber, and i can't believe i just found you! We're all our own worst critics, but i have to say, you criticizing your perfect imperfections are charming , but no criticism here! Absolutely gorgeous, please keep em coming! 🌹🌹

Awww, thank you so much for such a sweet comment. I'm glad you found me & decided to stick around 😁 It's funny I don't even remember criticizing anything in this video (other than my squeaky chair 😂) but I don't even realize I'm doing it. My Mom always tells me to stop doing that. I kinda see it differently though...to me, it's looking at my work with a critical eye. Like, if I look at it & think "oh, it's beautiful, oh it's perfect" instead of "wow, this is really pretty, BUT....this could be better, I could change this" then how will I ever improve? I guess so.e people see it as putting down my work, but I just see what I could improve. Sorry for rambling...it's 5am & I just woke up 🤣 Thank you for subscribing & for taking the time to comment ❤️

@@madebymellyjewelry I see your point with that! I tend to go overboard with my personal criticism, it's definitely a chance to self reflect and learn... I take it to extremes though, and wanted you to know that what I (probably your audience) see is careful thought and beautiful results 🌹

@@SelenesCreationsByTheSea that makes me sad 😢 I guess I'll leave my "oops" in more. Although, I don't usually take them out anyway. On this video in particular I was going to show making the background & some tests I did beforehand. I mixed up a big marbled slab, then decided I didn't like the color. So, I did it all over. I really wanted to leave all of that in the video...but the video would've been WAY too long... probably 2½ hrs or more. I just had to cut it 🫤

@Wendy-ob8rb thank you. I don't know that yours would look rushed, but this type of clay work certainly isn't for everyone. Some artists do this tedious type of work, that's all they do & they're REALLY good at it. Other artists do only another type of work like canes, or other things. A lot of artists stay in their lane. Not me!!! I'm ALL OVER the road! 🤣🤣🤣 I love to do all different types of techniques & hopefully my channel will reflect that. I plan to do all the different types of things that I love doing & hopefully that way, more people can find something on my channel that appeals to them ❤️
