Thank you! Yeah, problems are gonna come up sooner or later. It always helps if you know how someone else has solved the same issue. You may do something different, but at least it gives a starting point. I've never heard of anyone else having the weight distribution problem, & if they did I'd love to know how they decided to solve it 😁 Thank you so very much for watching & commenting ❤️ Make sure you're subscribed & have your notifications on...I'm going to have my 500 subbie thank you giveaway soon!!!

Would love a tutorial on the roses. How thick is your clay for the roses? Are you using the same circle cutter? Is one slab a little thicker? I can see you used #3 setting, then ran it through again at one segment but I couldn't see what it was. Thank you!
@madebymellyjewelry9 ай бұрын
I think im going to make try to make a tut. Ok...the different thickness of clay will give different sized roses. So, yes, I had different thicknesses rolled out. Different sized cutters would also create a different sized rose. I used the same cutter for all the petals of a single flower...I just added cutouts as I went along. I can't remember, but I think I said in the video 1 dot for the smallest petals, 2 for the mids, & 3 for the biggest. I really hope that all makes sense 🤔 I just need to make a video 🤣 Let me know if you have more questions...I'll try my best to answer. Thank you very much for watching & taking the time to comment ❤️

The light issue that you're having, I have the same problem and I film with a Canon camera. I just cut it out. It's a lot more noticeable when you speed up the video as opposed to leaving it in real time. I don't know that there's any way to fix it. When you're filming and you move your hands in and out the camera or your phone it just automatically adjusts due to the lighting and reflectiveness of whatever's in the view of the camera. I don't know if that helps or makes sense. I don't think you're doing anything wrong I experience the same thing.
@madebymellyjewelry11 ай бұрын
Thank you. Yes, I understand. The thing is this though...when I filmed with my old phone, it didn't do that. I used the same set up, same lighting, same editing app...& It didn't do that. (I spilled a bottle of water in my purse...that phone was in there 🙄) But a newer version of the phone is on sale half price next week, so I'm gonna get it just for filling. The flickering only shows up after saving the edited video back to my phone 🤷 I was just thinking about messaging you because I wanted to ask you what you filmed with & stuff. I don't understand how you cut out the flickering. Im thinking about starting a FB group just for us PC KZbinrs. So we can discuss things like this.
@frugallydelicious11 ай бұрын
That is interesting that your old phone didn't do it too! Maybe you could speak with text support for your phone or the editing software?? What happens with mine is like when I'm wearing gloves or I put something in the shot, the shot will get so bright it's almost blinding, but then when I remove the object the shot goes darker. Those are the spots I cut out. I also watch the camera screen while I'm filming so I can catch it and refilm. Sounds like our issues might be slightly different!? I love you FB idea! It's genius! 😊@@madebymellyjewelry

@@frugallydelicious yeah, I know what you're talking about & that's a different issue. Hopefully the new phone will work like my old one. I may later down the line get an actual camera. @madebymellyjewelry10 ай бұрын
It's from Ed Street. If you notice, it doesn't have fenders. It's been modified especially for pc & is SUPER easy to clean. It also has the heavy acrylic base so that it doesn't have to be clamped to the table...which I LOVE! You can get one that's just modified. No color, no acrylic base from Mona Kissel. I'm pretty sure if you order from Ed, he 1st gets them from Mona. Then, he does the color & the base. I was blessed enough to be able to buy mine second hand from a beautiful lady that was having trouble with her hands & shoulder & decided to give up pc after years & years. She even had a pc YT channel. I was able to buy her Lucy cane slicer too. Anyway, here's the links for Ed & Mona's websites. www.monakissel.com/ www.edscolors.com/

About where in Georgia are you? I have two best friends, one name, Melissa that used to live in Hinesville Georgia, but moved back to our hometown of Wichita Kansas. Then my other best friend, who lived here moved to Savannah to be with her girlfriend. When Melissa was living in Georgia, I drove from Wichita to visit her. I had a two week vacation child free. We drove down to Florida, and also went up to Beaufort South Carolina and saw Dierks Bentley in concert on the Marine base there. I love Georgia, but I really don’t like heat. When I visited there, we went to Savannah and the Spanish moss was beautiful hanging in the trees. I just wish I could tolerate the heat because I would love to live there.

I'm from NW GA. I was raised in a small town....Cedartown. My husband & I seem to move quite a bit (I tell everyone we're Nomads 😂) & we now live in Calhoun. I really like it here. My family still lives in Cedartown, which is about an hour drive from my place...that's the only thing I don't like about living here. It is a lot easier for me to drive to art shows though, most of which I do in the ATL area. I live 5 minutes from the interstate! Hinesville. I know that one! We lived there for about 5 yrs. It was about a 5 or 6 hr drive to see our families, & we moved back up NW GA about 5 yrs ago. We absolutely loved it there. Hubby is a veteran, so it was nice living in a military town. Yes, that moss is absolutely gorgeous!!!! 😁
@MichelleJ182210 ай бұрын
@@madebymellyjewelry she lived in Hinesville because her husband was in the military! We have been friends since we were kids, but lost touched for a few years. They were stationed in Hawaii for 11 years. And of course, that was during the time we were not in contact. I always joke that that really bums me out because that would’ve been a practically free trip!
