In 2005 Triumph introduced their all new Speed Triple 1050. It was the 4th generation of Speed Triple, but the 1st generation (2005-10) of the 1050 line . In this video a gentleman brings his street bike to the track for the first time.

Thats a 2010. The speedy was released in 94. That might be a first gen for the 1050 but its a 3rd gen counting the original 94' speedy and the t509 speedy.

Hello Dave, very curious with this video. The Rear Shock and understanding if its gone completely. Is it just fact that you can hear Air on the rebound portion of the stoke that indicates its gone, or is

Literally that yes. And when it is really bad, the shock "jumps" through the stroke until the oil starts flowing to it reaches a hydraulic wall.

Dave Williams, editor, replying here. You're correct. I struggled with how to identify it as the first gen of the 1050 era. As I write this I realize, duh, I should have put "1050 Era" instead of just "1050".
