Their music redefines worship music to me. Their lyrics strongly resonate within Christian circles and hopefully outside of them too. I can imagine this sound being appealing to listeners of various backgrounds. G.P.F. is thought provoking and self-less. When Gable is singing he is doing so with every fiber of his being. He is passionate and genuine about his faith. This is why I can listen to them because they are living their faith actively and want others to know the love of God through music.

Yes! Totally agree. Its so hard to find genuine authentic Christian music. Honestly years since my heart beats again for music. I love the Lord and this music finally resonates my intimacy of how I communicate to the Lord compared to different generes of worship music. I love how music can create a spark you didnt know you had.

I’ve got no beef with Bethel/Hillsong as churches, just can’t do the washy ambient pads with no groove or pocket and really generic lyrics. When those two church’s music steps outside of that, I’m usually pretty good with it haha.

@@sloopfan3706 again… it’s not that I dislike Bethel, it’s that the sonic structure of that style of ambient music doesn’t work for me. Rock music does. Some of those sounds are present in Gable’s music, but also there are serious beats and groove in it that works for me. I don’t know what’s so difficult to understand about this. I’m not hating on anyone. Just sharing that it’s not my preference. And given how influential Bethel is sonically, pretty much all P&W music right now sounds like that. So I don’t have much I can worship through. Bands like Ascend The Hill, Kings Kaleidoscope, classic hymns, and some country are my options. But Gable is adding to that catalog for me, thankfully!
