How to show those axis on the shapes? I can only select faces and edges without axis.

I think you're looking for the Gumball. Turn on this manipulator for selections at the bottom of the interface in Rhino 7 for Windows by clicking "Gumball".

my rhino is up to date but I cant find subD tools, help
@RhinoGuide2 жыл бұрын
You'll need Rhino 7 for the SubD tools. If you have v7, you should see a SubD Tools toolbar group and a SubD menu. Sometimes the ToolbarReset command is needed too if a toolbar is missing. It may have been closed and this would reset it.

Hi, How can I do to show the subD tools palette?
@RhinoGuide4 жыл бұрын
You'll need Rhino 7 to see the SubD toolbar. If you are using v7 but don't see it or are missing some icons, run the command ToolbarReset and restart Rhino 7.

as a complete beginner i have no idea how you even got those shapes on the screen to begin with....

Rhino is command line based as well as the option to use icons or menus. Use the SubD menu or Toolbar group or type "SubD" on the command line to see an auto complete list of commands. SubDBox, SubDCylinder, SubDPlane, SubDSphere and SubDPlane were used.

Imagine you were trying to model a human head with sub-d and you made 2 models slightly different and put one of the models inside of the other and plotted 50% between the 2 models. Now imagine 2 of the same Dsub head with a triangle mesh in the middle with a ratio + or - off on an axis often leading from the highest and lowest point of the 2 curved surfaces relative to the triangle side making a tetrahedron derived curved surface. Infusing in a triangular mesh with a dSub surface might allow for more control over things like facial character or complex curved physics.

Interesting ideas, you might want to post to the Rhino user forum as well discourse.mcneel.com/
