Haven't played with trains for a few days now on account of new content I'm creating. I'll have to check that out. Thanks for the heads up! 😀

The quality of your Satisfactory video's is up and beyond from the average tutorial, it's like I'm watching a professional made webinar. Well done sir!

That means a lot after the time it takes to make them look half decent! Thanks for the encouragement! 🙂 Glad you enjoyed!

Thank you for the video. Also, I subbed today, as you are very clear and easy to follow. Particularly like that you are not yelling. Cannot wait to watch all of your content. I of course watch other creators. Have a few favorites, one of which you mentioned. Which brings up my final point. Very impressed that you point to another creator that has made some content that aligns directly with what you are explaining. That shows me, that you care about the community and not just your channel. Props to you.

Thanks a bunch! Appreciate your comment a lot! You are correct. There are so many content creators out there, and I like to focus on those who build, not just the community as a whole, but other content creators who do their best and can provide another point of view! Thanks a bunch for taking the time to put that out there! I post comments like yours quite regularly, so it's great to see it come full circle every now and then! 😀👍 Have a good one!

thanks for a great tutorial! this and the video on signals were clear and easy to understand. Really appreciate how you start at the basics, explaining things in a way a layman can understand. Everything was easy to follow and helped me solve a few headaches i've been having with a multi-station line!

Thanks for this video! Already a great help in me planning out my train systems. I’d love to see your automated storage video! Looking forward to it

Glad the information helped! Seems to be some interest in the automated storage, and I have yet to see one implemented the way I have set mine up, so some may find it useful to incorporate some of the design into their builds. As a result, I have plans to do that video soon. 🙂 Keep an eye on the channel for that and thanks again!

6:50 The use case is having a train only load or unload things you want instead of clogging the system with unwanted items. For example, I have two trains: Train 1: 4 Freight Cars Train 2: 8 Freight Cars Both unload stuff, but they unload different stuff: So Train 1 will only reach and drop off Item 1 Item 2 Item 3 Item 4 in Freight Station 1 Freight Station 2 Freight Station 3 Freight Station 4 It will not unload Freight Car 5 Freight Car 6 Freight Car 7 Freight Car 8 because there is no freight car next to the freight station (the train is shorter) So far so good. The problem occurs when the second longer train, delivering different items begins to unload at the same station. While the second train is only supposed to unload Item 5 Item 6 Item 7 Item 8 it will - without the filters - also unload Item 1 Item 2 Item 3 Item 4 because Freight Station 1 Freight Station 2 Freight Station 3 Freight Station 4 are and have to be set to unload for Train 1 to work properly. So you end up with the wrong items in Freight Station 1 Freight Station 2 Freight Station 3 Freight Station 4 which will clog up production and is very very annoying to fix. Thus filters are an wonderful invention. They also allow you to have load and unload (of different items) at the same train station: Filters and also the "load nothing" and "unload nothing" option allow you to precisly command trains to deliver or take only certain items from a station. Very useful for more complex networks and production lines. If you are more interested into this topic, I can make an example video.

I do understand how it works. You are correct that in your scenario of only one item type per car, this filter can be very powerful! I, personally, have multiple items per car due to the smaller size of my production facilities so far. Hence, my "filtering"is done with the sorter system in my other video. 🙂 Really appreciate your comment! I'm super happy they added the filter for Stations either way as it opens up new gameplay options!

Thanks for the comment. The translation makes it difficult to understand everything you are trying to say, but I did call this video an introduction to trains, so all I gave so far is an introduction. Check out my update 5 playlist if you would like to see signal videos. 🙂

@@Parkinwad , unexpectedly, I meant that many points were missed even for the introduction. In any case, I would like a complete guide with everything in the world.
