This is Glenn Young, the actual author of the book this presentation is based on (by the way the book is available on Amazon). I'd like to thank Wayne for his work in bringing this concept of a wider audience --- overall it was a tremendous effort and so much work. I just like to say though, that this book was intended far more as a work of history than of religion and evaluation of religions. So I would have had less religious commentary. It is my personal understanding that all religions are based in myth, and also given the chance all religious leaders can become tyrants when given the chance (Just look what the Buddhist just did to the Muslims in Myammar, or what is happening in Israel/Palestine today.) So this work was not directly intended as a trashing of Christianity or Christian mythology, but an evaluation of the connectivity of all religions and looking at how all religious groups can use their religion in a despotic fashion. The real focus of this work was to show the mostly forgotten influence of the religion and culture on Phoenicia on the development of Western religions --- and to directly discuss in an open fashion the ancient ritual of child sacrifice and how it morphed into our present culture. In addition it was intended to show the tragic ending of the Phoenician and ancient Jewish cultures at the hands of Greece and Rome, and how great the lost was in the numbers of humans killed and the great amount of history and culture that was lost.. It is an historic tragedy that is seldom told. Showing the relationship to Christianity was a means to tell the story about those thing in a way that would be of interest to people today. So my personal commentary would have been different than Wayne's . But that is no way limits the effort put forward by him to bring these shows to you tube --- Thanks very much --- Now, in closing in a very self serving fashion, everyone go and buy the book --- thanks PS - To those who made comments saying I need to read the Bible, I can only say I have extensively, but as an historian and not as a believer. In addition I have studied extensive amounts of the writings of early Christians and those who wrote in opposition to the new religion. I have also visited the sites where the children sacrificed were buried, and stood two feet away from where Constantine governed the council that determined "Creed" of Christianity ... along with many, many other critical locations in the history of Western religion. I worked on the development and conclusions of this work for nearly 20 years before publishing them. I am again thankful for Wayne's effort to understand the effort.

Wayne, I agree with you fully on this topic. When my eyes were opened fifteen years ago, besides experiencing shock and awe, I thought, what do I do now? I couldn't continue to worship "Jesus". I believe I found in my research that all Christians had been deceived to worship a god of flesh, forsaking Passover and in its' stead, keeping Easter (Ashtoreth, Astarte, Ishtar, etc - as you're well aware) and other high Hebrew holidays are also forsaken. Do you believe or suppose it's possible that Christians are of the lost tribes of Israel, deceived and in great apostasy against the spoken word (Torah) of Yaweh? Do you believe that it is time for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear and know His Name to return to the One true G-d of Israel, the creator of the universe, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to keep His commandments, laws, decrees, his feast days, etc? Or is there something else I'm not understanding?

Folks' - a beautiful evening here in Scotland. I hope there is peace where you all are. One of you pointed out - 'much of us are free from witnessing the total suffering imposed by war' ... but it threatens us all. I suspect - if religion and respect for each other and nature was left to us, & we truly elected a sensible governance system, our achievements would be admirable. I used to call christianity a chameleon and I never cared for the jewish and muslim faith to begin with. Thank you for filling in the gaps. The war will not be over until the abrahamic faiths are dead. Perhaps a revival of Ba’al will take place with another face. Maybe humanity will usher forward a "new” age of reason. I know that christians burned my family’s history and for that I will not forgive nor forget, however, eye for eye and tooth for tooth sounds reasonable. The amount of time and research this took is impressive. A comparative religions course I had in the 60's felt the Phoenicians were also trading with China about 1000 years BC and Eastern ethics also were incorporated into middle eastern religious dogma of the time. One example I recall is 'Confucius' Silver Rule" which is "Don't do to people that which you would not wish done to you." 500 yaers later, paraphrased, it's in the Bible as the Golden Rule. The Gilgamesh Epic also contains the Garden of Eden story. I am not the spelling or grammar police but politely suggest the number of spelling and grammar errors in your presentation weakens the presentation. After starting the video with a "Just the Facts, ma'am" historical foundation, I felt there was some antagonism exhibited by the presenter to persons who disagree with or question him. The frustrations of arguments involving pretzel logic, such as the fundamentalists may employ certainly generate antagonism in the better informed crowd, but maybe some of the people you're educating feel they are being talked down to and stop listening. Regardz!

Ron I will look into the book, however what is missing is that the Hebrews themselves admit they do not know the true name of their G-d it was lost most likely in captivity and exile, only 10% of the original Hebrews returned and the brain trust of their culture was lost, from there it is at best a good guess, then came Alexander this only added to the confusion, as my Jewish friends tell me all the time, us Gentiles do not have a clue as to what we worship.
