In many Jewish scriptures, there is mention of two messiahs; a priestly and Kingly messiah. In Gnosticism Jesus was a prophet and priest. The gnostics book called the fate of Mary says that once Zechariah visited the temple of Solomon but left because he saw a deranged creature which meant that that’s who the Jews worshiped. Zechariah, John the Baptist, and Jesus were all priests. They were Essenes from Qumran. The Qumran priests recognized the messiah as a priest of Gnosis (spiritual knowledge). Gnostic Jesus came from a poor family of Nazareth which is big proof that he was not from the line of David which would define him as a priestly messiah. In the rabbinic Talmud talks about Mary’s bloodline from governors and Kings but not a Davidic bloodline. In most Gnostic scripture Jesus was not from the line of David because if he was he would be the kingly messiah but he wasn’t. The other non Gnostic Jesus’ mother was from the line of David which would make her the heiress to the throne of the kingdom of Israel. It means that she was the princess of Israel by blood. Even in the infancy gospels Anne and Joachim were a wealthy family from Bethlehem the house of David. This means that Mary inherited the royal nobility. Mary recited the sacred scriptures in the temple of Solomon. She was raised in the temple where God established a wealthy kingdom and favoured Solomon with wisdom. The Kingdom of Israel and the temple of Solomon are a great obsession to the “big people” today. This Jesus was a kingly messiah 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔

And when I truly sought for many years, by reading the Bible itself, not outside book somethings become obvious. I did find that I believe because I had been guided to believe. I did find While Jesus did exist, believing Paul (one man who is a writer who uses the first person pronoun too much)is the same as those who believe one man, Joseph Atwill. How did Paul supplant those who were said to have been with Jesus. Believing "Paul's story as told by him" is no different than following Joseph Smith who 2K years later did the same thing. I do not believe Atwill's proposition. However, some parts of the Roman influence, such as the way the books are blatantly written to remove the responsibilty for punishing and killing Jesus away from the Romans, and place it on the Jews. This is obvious for the uncoached-minded reader, and it is historical and factual. It is also obvious the reason Paul became popular, was that he in his own words, "taught what gentiles (then and today) itching ears wanted to hear."

It's a human predisposition. You take a room of 100 strangers and ask them to draw an Alien and 80+% of them will render a bisymmetrical creature with two eyes, a mouth underneath, and typically at least 2 arms and 2 legs. We infer based on what we already know. INTERESTING FACT: The Essene Jews lived in the time of Josephus. They rejected the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem because they didn’t like the teachings. The Qumran was seen as the second Solomon Temple Priesthood. Unlike other Jews the Essenes priests were celibate and vegetarians. The Essenes originated from a Dharmic religion of Jainism. The Essenes were a minor Jewish sect that spread from Qumran to many towns such as Nazareth. Nazareth came from the Latin word Nazarus. All of the Nazarene Jews were Essenes. They were Roman invented Jews and from them was formed the first Christian sect; The Natsarim. Interestingly before Nazareth was the name of the city it was called Medina Abib. This means that the so called Synagogue of Nazareth were Nazarene Jews gathered were Essene teachings. Also Jesus and Mary would also be in this sect. In fact the Essenes resided in the Mountains before they were in cities. Emerentia the grandmother of Mary was an Essene of Mount Carmel who knew that the so called Immaculate conception was gonna be born from her descendant (Anne). Mary indeed was a Roman descendant. Her Grandmother’s name is Latin, her grandmother’s sister was Ismeria (Also a Latin name), and her grandfather was stollanus (Roman name). Also it was believed that Jesus and John the Baptist were one of twelve sons of light (spiritual guides) and that John the Baptist was a teacher to Jesus. Mary from an early age was taught at the Jewish Essene Mystic Synagogue of Nazareth. She was a peasant because the Essenes like the Buddha didn’t want to get attached to worldly wealth. The Gnostics came from the Essenes because they both share the same belief in Mysticism and the Dead Sea scrolls. The Essenes believed in secret Knowledge. That’s how Gnosis or Gnosticism was born. The salvation for Gnostics is to find Christ conciseness and learn the mystic knowledge.

The documentary does not present good evidence that the gospels were written by Romans when you consider that there are some 6000 documents (and fragments of documents) that contain on average, 400 pages per document that have been copied and recopied by early Christians who had nothing to do with Rome. That also illustrates the organic nature of the writings and how they were compiled. We know that they were independently copied because of the textual variations, paraphrase techniques and handwriting. It's hard to envision that so many independent people in that region would spread the lies of Rome, and thereby go to their deaths for it as many did. Tacitus makes reference to Nero persecuting multitudes of Christians in 64 AD. This indicates the existence of Christianity before the Flavians because of how commonplace it had become. However, this documentary DOES give a pretty good explanation of how the Catholic Church took over and corrupted Christianity (through Constantine of Rome) and became a political power. As the Catholic symbolism is really pretty much in line with Roman paganism.

The Gospel of Mark was a play ... written in the 130s ad with the story line set a 100 years earlier. Simon of Cyrene was to be understood as being Simon bar Kokhba, the "Jewish Messiah". @Pascal De Pester As far as I know, the word "Christian" first appeared in ACTS , written a quarter century after the time of Nero, around the same time as Josephus, Tacitus and Pliny the Younger using the same term. Paul was dead by then. None of Paul's epistles have the word "christian" in them. They were called "Nazarenes", "brothers", "believers" etc before this. So there were no "christians" per se at the time of Nero. Those who were persecuted during Nero were probably Nazarenes or Apocalyptic/Messianic Jews who were derogatively called "atheists" as they didn't believe in Roman Gods. Flavians ruled only for 30 years. The next 100 years of Nerva-Antionine dynasty was mostly tolerant to Christians. As such Romans weren't much interested in proselytising or converting their subjects to their pagan religion. None of the contributors to this video would be able to defend this ridiculous theory in a debate. The Jews rejected Jesus/Yeshua as messiah but they have never tried to say he didn't exist or claim to be the messiah. Virtually all major historians acknowledge that Jesus existed, based on the testimony of multiple historical sources from the 1st and 2nd century such as Flavius Josephus, Tacitus, Lucian of Samosata to name but a few. So we have Jewish, Roman and Greek sources from the first two centuries testifying to Jesus existence. The Romans didn't get on board with Christianity until the 4th century. Suggesting they would just suddenly invent a saviour, not based on their own pagan traditions, but based on the Jewish concept of a messiah is completely laughable. Remember the Jews had been mostly dispersed from their homeland after 70 AD and were a declining cultural force. This theory is utterly ridiculous and I would love to see it's promoters attempt to debate this with any half decent historian or Christian scholars.

I have listened to many orthodox Rabbis give their opinions on Jesus, and while they do not accept that he was the messiah, they have no doubt that he existed. Yeshu is not Jesus full name in Jewish. His name is biblical and dates back to the old testament, ever heard of Joshua? Also the Talmud is not a reliable historical source of first century Jewish history.
