Introducing iPhone 17

I'm struggling to see why Apple would adopt this design after making the rear cameras vertical on all 16 models for shooting spacial video.

I mean the restion why vertical videoss are a thing is because of the iphone being popular and it's does tell you you can shoot horizonal... So why would th7ey switch to a horizonal shooting focus now? Which 3d video camras have always had their camra horizonal even the canon 3D video lens apple made with them is like that... So it may not be possible to record 3D pictures with vertical camras like how it isn't possible to have bionocler vison with two vertical eyes... Still doiesn't make sense why they would pick the chinses knock off vibe of a pixel with the mac style...

Thsank you! Like this loks like a Chinese knock off called Ipixel not the latest iPhone... Instead of even a fan rendering of a Pixel in the Mac style because those lens are way to big to be real and if they were I Appe isn't the company that innovates with a wholy new tech never before thought of... Like the apple vison pro is the biggest exemple of that being a everything to the extreme kitchen sink design cursed by apple to have less features then any XR device ever and having a very curfused public concept of being the first XR device ever yet is just a really expensive not practical AR glasse... When it's really a kitach sink MR headset that is softwear klimited to the exeme.. Like Quest is quickly getting all it's exclusive features in softwear where as the AVP is bearly getting any apps at all much less any exclusive features or just making it as good as any quest... So yeah this is the most unlikely popular romore I've heard in years...

The aluminum frame rumor is just a misconstrued rumor, I believe. It could be that the aluminum frame in the iPhone 17 Pro is just the internal structure of the device just like current iPhone. Apple always refer to the internal structure as “frame”. The “band” is the outer frame of the device. So I believe the Pro iPhone will still have titanium outer band.

I thought the regular 16 had to go vertical cameras for spatial video? Horizontal layout goes against that.

I mean that was a blant lie like the biggest lie provable apple has ever told... Like even the audio jack think thing can be true... But that is a 100% a lie that only Apple fan boys would believe because they would rewrite they brain to make it true... As all 3D camra have always been two canmra horzonal as that is how bionocal vistion works the whole point of 3D pictures and video... Like Apple knows this as the Apple Canon partnership lens for cannon camres so they can shoot 3D video has horizonal lens... and so does the Apple vison pro although it hjas so many sensors it's hard to tell... So yeah why that does have the same controversy as the rest of things that people say Apple lied about when it is a massive lie that human experinmce can disprove much less if you have had a 3D camra before including one made by Apple... Is shocking to me.

3d requires horizontal. You may be able to do some calculations of depth and fake it , but real stereo 3d mimics the human eye and is horizontal like your eyes.

Camera placement doesn’t bother me so much. But I’ve always hated when they come out with super thin designs. Too difficult for me to hold. I’m still using the 14 Pro Max, I love it! 😑

I want to keep the ti frame. If cost is reason for the switch to aluminum then I would happily give back two of the three cameras to keep it.

Titanium is not that much more expensive than aluminium, nor is it really that much better, but i think they should keep it

@ titanium is many orders of magnitude more expensive than aluminum. And it’s both stronger and more durable than aluminum. Titanium is approximately 2/3 more dense and over 10 times more expensive than aluminum.

iPhone 17Pro should stay Titanium some way (maybe just the edges) and should have “4k-240hz” (would be impressive) with these supposedly bigger cameras 📷 in the rectangular back bump! (Nano-texture as an option)😮 and more nits of brightness (maybe 3000)

Um is anyone going to mention how much this looks like a knock off pixel with the apple logo, mac panels and over sized cleary fact camras? Like how is this the romured design? Like this is isnaly un apple as even in theapple golden age where steve jobs was busy using his net worth to prototype his come back to apple... Apple devices didn't have the look of other devices just isn't their thing... Also it's an insane whip lash as the apple vistion pro was made using the classic stve jobs designon the outside and didn't look like any XR headset etheir... So why would Apple make a knock off iPhone /pixel thing? If anything you would think it would look like a iPhione X but with the features of a gaklxey ultra... Which is much more common for aplle to do when they feel like not pretending they are the computer industry...
