I'm about to buy a set but for some reason everyone is charging $500 a set for the red letter versions, that's BS! Just going to buy the reg ones and use a $5 red pen to make them red letter.

When are manufacturers of off road tyres going to give us the 25/32 tread depth ? theyre expensive as hell and should have more tread

How does the M/T2 compare to the R/T in snow and ice ? I care most about maximum traction in these conditions in the mountains.
@kendatiresusa Жыл бұрын
The AT2 is a 3-Peak mountain Snowflake certified tire and would be best suited for cold weather driving and icy conditions. If not the AT2, then the R/T would be the next choice if you're looking for a slightly more aggressive all-around tread pattern but still handles very respectably in snow, cold weather and icy conditions. If you are mainly driving off the road in deep snow, mud, etc, then the M/T2. Best to stop in by your local Kenda Tire dealer to get all the information your looking for that is best suited for your particular driving needs. Why are mud tires studdable. Are they that good in the snow?
@jasoncostello347111 ай бұрын
Mud tires, unless siped, don't do so well on ice, they are good in deep snow.
@bradlaflamme612711 ай бұрын
@jasoncostello3471 I am aware of that but it confuses me that mud tires would be studable at all because they generally suck in say slush and wet snow.
@jasoncostello347111 ай бұрын
@@bradlaflamme6127 I'm with you there. I have these tires, no studs, but didnt get them until the tail end of a heavy winter. They were great in deep snow. Reading deeper they claim the silica content keeps the tire soft in cold weather, and that they will perform well in wet weather. but they lack substantial siping. So I'm concluding/guessing ice is the weak point.
