Lord Brahma prayed to Lord Vishnu to save the earth from the sins of demons and kings. Lord Vishnu agreed to be born as a mortal to help, and Krishna was born to Queen Devaki to kill the evil King Kamsa and bring comfort to innocent people.
Krishna's father, Vasudeva, took the newborn Krishna to his cousin Nanda and his wife, Yashoda, in Gokulam to protect him from Kamsa, Devaki's brother and the tyrannical king of Mathura. Kamsa had vowed to kill all of Devaki's children.
According to study.com, baby Krishna embodies the innocence of infants and the love that parents feel for their babies. He is also a prankster and troublemaker.
