I like the design and quality of their watches. Yes, I'm a fan and I think of their watches as a wearable art. I have 3 Venezinicos in my collection including the Redentore Ultrablack so I thought I didn't need this one but now leaning more and more towards getting it. The rubber strap, no second hand and slightly different hour and minute hands from Redentore makes it interesting.

Wearable art is a great way to describe some of their watches, as well as being; superbly finished with outstanding design cues. Like you, I’m a BIG Venezianico fan 👍👍

Love the minimalist Movado look to it-👍 I have a Swiss legend with blue sapphires at the 1/4 hours. Hard to tell the time but fashion over form!……sometimes😂

To give a perspective about this watch. MusouBlack adsorbs 99.4% of visible light. Vantablack is the "world's darkest material" and it adsorbs 99.965%. So, pretty freaking cool watch. Simon, maybe a good description of the bezel pattern would be coin edge?

It’s a stunner for sure, and this is definitely the epitome of form over function. It’s unfortunately not for me, but I definitely don’t think they need my support. It’s going to sell well for sure. I personally think it’s well worth the money. And you’re right about that X Factor. Thanks!

Great review as always 👍. The watch 🤔 as you say, the watch can only be set accurately at 12 or 6 o'clock and with no visible second hand why use a mechanical movement, a quartz would be more suitable for what is really not a usable time piece, it's more a dress/fashion piece. Just some hour marker notched in the bezel and brushed hands that can actually be seen would transform it for me.

This is not high horology so what’s the point in having an average auto movement when there’s no running seconds? Put a quartz in it and reduce the price - significantly.

High marks for uniqueness, but at 800 USD and legibility poor, well, no thanks. As a piece of jewelry it is pretty cool. As a usable watch/time piece - not so much. There are loads of useful and attractive watches that can be had for this price or less.

Musou black dial on a budget PF Tonda... Maybe. But price is bit steep. Enjoy mate. PS Brand's name sounds Venetsiάnico (tone on "a", "ts" is short and sharp, like in "tsunami")
