They have two Spanish songs: Martirio and Narcisista. Pau, the drummer is lead in Narcisista. They have three versions of Enter Sandman and a cover of Metallica’s Atlas Rise. Pau regularly breaks sticks and broke her bass skin in New Hampshire in 2022.

Hell, they're ON a Metallica ALBUM. Their collaborative cover of Enter Sandman with Alessia Cara is mind-blowing. Metallica invited them to do it. It is the FIRST track on the Black Cover album.

Gave you a like because Martirio is an amazing song. Though I would argue that the performance from this concert they watched is better. The song is an anthem that needs to be experience with a stadium full of fans. And if you can't actually be there, the video from this show will put you there. Especially the way they mixed in fan-shot footage. To hear the raw emotion in their performance, and see it on their faces when the audience sings along.

If you like Pau’s energy on the drums, you have to watch their TEDx 2017 performance from University of Nevada. You will get it within 10 seconds. And pay attention during the 3rd song, Survive, speaking of Pau and drum sticks! During an interview Dany was trying to figure out a certain performance Pau was talking about - then Pau said “it was the one that I didn’t break a stick”. Dany knew right away.

@@erink695 in a nutshell, it means martyrdom. It is about a journey of transformation. Someone who is willing to endure pain and hardship for a greater purpose. Their own desire to face challenges head on and be fearless in the pursuit of their dreams. Explained from an article in "old time music" by Dean Maldonado. i believe The Warning wrote it themselves and yes it is a beautiful song.

Pau had a rental kit at a festival they played and it started falling all to hell pretty quickly. I think their tech Carlos spent a good deal of time trying to hold it together so they could finish the set. Quite hilarious.

If you haven’t seen their first ever video on KZbin you have to see it because they are so young and doing a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman. They were so young and tiny just rocking out, they made the video to show their grandparents how much better they were getting on their instruments and recorded on KZbin and it went viral overnight and they were shocked that so many people liked them and started them on a path to greatness. Lots of great songs from these ladies.

As a traditional style rock, texas blues, R&B guitarist, I wasn't too impressed with this band, when I first heard them. No solos, no melodically moving bass lines, none of the traditional things I would expect in a rock song. Now, after remembering many rock bands that had extremely simplistic mega hits, many with lead melodies, but no real solos, driving simplistic bass lines that don't run through several octaves, I've come to the realization that these ladies may single handedly revive this genre to mainstream popularity. These ladies are the real deal! I'm certainly not to proud to admit how wrong I was about them. Definitely one of my favorite bands!

Welcome back to The Warning DPA Goddesses. There's a full live concert from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX that you definitely need to get through whether reactions wise or in your own time. I would love to see you react to more from that concert and I'm sure The Warning Army would also. FYI I was their concert here in Guadalajara Mexico first time I've seen them live and that was almost a month ago and I'm still reeling from it and they also debuted two new songs from their soon to be released album. So you've got to react to those when released you're going to blown away!

If these girls had been in the 70s, 80s, or 90s they would already be selling out stadiums and would be on regular rotation on every rock radio station in the US and definitely Mexico. They still should be massive in this era, but unfortunately they might be too rock and too deep for the general public these days. A lot of young people don't understand the experience of listening to a whole album as a journey......... which is how these ladies write their music. I think that's why they appeal a lot to older generations.

They may appeal quite a bit to the older crowd here in the U.S. but the crowd makeup at their European and Latin American shows tell a somewhat different story. The crowds are young and very enthusiastic, to say the least. Just take a gander at any of the band’s fall shows in South America and Mexico and you’ll see what I mean. It may take a bit longer here for the general public to “get” The Warning but the rest of the world is well on its way to being “Warned”.

If you want to see Pau breaking a stick, you should try their TedX session from 2017. They performed three songs, the third being Survive which is still a fan favourite and still played live (it's a banger). It is in Survive that Pau breaks a stick and recovers very smoothly I believe they were 12, 15 and 17 in that performance and they kill it.
