Btw, this looks good on an LG OLED TV conntected to a Chromecast Ultra, in case you want to update the "NOTE: To view HDR sample, you must have HDR supported device such as..." text on your web site.

i found that Blackmagic raw files barely needs any color correction they looks goood default but when i tested to shoot with V Log on my Panasonic S5 and opened it in Davinci Resolve even the HDR10 output was washed out with no colors. took hours to get it right. for those are these LUTs better?

Great looking luts; wonderful colour...

just got a little question aramK.. But how're you testing, stressing your LUT to know if it's well made. And is there a process to make a "good" non-stressed-frame LUT ?
@AramK2 жыл бұрын
Every lut goes to anywhere between 10-20 different video clips to make sure it looks within the similar look. Some luts like my Blackmagic natural ones, went though probably over a hundred different clips to make sure they look consistent. There is no ultimate perfect lut, I try to make sure its stays usable in wider range if different scenarios.

@@AramK Oh well, that's a good thing ! I'm really scared about making LUT with Davinci or any other tools. It looks so math complicated task that I'm so scared to make a mistake, then I'm not making LUTs at all... But I guess that even in super-productions, they are doing the way you are ^^'
@AramK2 жыл бұрын
In the end of the day, it’s about the quality of the footage. No lut will be able to safe shifty video clip.

Do you monitor with Decklink FHD or 4k? I have pretty beefy TRX40 + 3090RTX and it starts to lag when adding more nodes to 4K Prores 422 (no proxies), so I have to switch to FHD timeline.
@AramK3 жыл бұрын
For hdr you have to monitor with deck link. My monitor only does UHD so I monitor in UHD resolution. I’m still running 1080ti, and it only lags when I do noise reduction
