Excellent. Took vids on iPhone with the Protake app using c-log format. Then ran your Canon Log (instead of 709s) as a base, and then added any of the others in Look and Film Emulations. Stunning. My faves are Grime, Glacier, and Her. But that's just with one specific clip so far. Much appreciated.

Don't want to seem ungrateful or anything but after several attempts to check and make sure I'm doing the right thing, the LUTS in the download are different from those in the video and listed in the description. Hi. Completely newbie so pardon for my ignorance. Why did the vids look pale prior to application of LUTs? Did you have to shot the vids "pale-looking" so you can achieve the desired LUTs effect?

Those images you see that look flat, without contrast and saturation are called Log. They are captured that way in camera with log color profiles. Log gives us more dynamic range, so you don’t lose detail in shadows and highlights. the result is a much more malleable image to work with in post. You can still work on non-log images, but log helps you get a better result.
