As the owner of #6000, these special aircraft are truly unique. Sadly, #6000 perished in the Nashville tornado in 2020 that wiped out John C Tune airport. I had many good trips in N16LX. Great plane for sure. #cirrus

So sad to hear #6000 was lost in that devastating event, I wasn't aware yours was among those destroyed. I'm glad you had so any great trips in her while you had her. I took delivery of #8000 and know exactly what you mean about these being unique birds. I've owned several Cirrus' but there is an added sense of joy with these milestone numbers. Really hope you're able to procure a replacement plane to get back up flying enjoying the blue skies again!

The ability of this company to keep making the same thing over and over again and labeling the next iteration as a game changer is spectacular. This is the same plane its always been. They LITERALLY added turboprop noises and flashy paint colors to this “limited” edition.

Cirrus is going to be the most modern aircraft available. Next step will be the adoption of a Jet-A1 fuel engine.

I wish cirrus would innovate more, same design aircraft for ages, no turboprop, no retractable landing gear, no 6 person propeller aircraft, no multi-engine. Makes me a little sad because I like the brand but it has fallen on a boring and design-less road. The vision jet is great tho, but the brand needs more in my opinion.

Go to a liquid cooled engine, therefore eliminating the possibility of shock cooling. Add retractable gear and fix that ridiculous price tag of 1,000,000 plus and MANY more people will consider it. Yes, you all are doing well, but you could be doing SO MUCH better.
