Introducing SkilledTradesBC

Starting December 1, 2022, Industry Training Authority has officially been renamed to SkilledTradesBC. Hear more from our CEO, Shelley Gray, on what this means for the trades industry and British Columbians.
Our new name will make it easier for people across the province to understand who we are and what we do. While our role in advancing B.C.'s skilled trades system hasn’t changed, it has expanded. This includes a larger focus on raising the profile of skilled trades, modernizing our approach to trades training, and implementing Skilled Trades Certification. We will continue to do this by working closely with partners like yourselves as we collectively support B.C.'s future economy through promoting people from diverse backgrounds to join the skilled trades.
