Another returning character from FP1, Spade. Can we really trust him this time?

Wtf, biggest glow up in this series ever, from a sonic OC to a new design which I think looks good. Happy for the series that it’s getting it’s own identity than just a other sonic fan game 🐐

I mean, the series had its own identity even with the first game. The second game did away with the all of the Sonic nods.

Well he did have good reason to be edgy last game what with his father being murdered. It is a shame though that Shadow can't evolve as easily as Spade since he has more to his backstory besides "loved one was murdered and is now pissed".

Shadow has every reason to be like he is, and really, everyone just uses that bandwagon for pretty much everything, even if it isn't dark and serious.

Shadow is actually a good character, the example could be the cutscenes from Sonic 06. He cares for his friends and tries to keep his promise that made to Maria. But Sega unfortunately for some reason makes him an edgy type of person.

It hurts even more when you see him in the GalaxyTrail exhibit after restoring the whole gallery. He had his animations done, he was going to help the player in the Sky Bridge and even had a rematch in the Dojo (FP1 style), but it all got scrapped :

I like that Spade puts his sunglasses down a bit so you could see his eyes in a stylish way, that shows you how much he's gotten cool over the years.

Well, his father's death was probably the main reason, why he was so hateful and bitter. And in his eyes, Lilac and crew were working for father's murderer, aka Mayor Zao. I guess in the end, he could finally see what really happened and make peace with it.

Neera Li is going to get board after this game… after the free elections. I would not be surprised if she went underground just to be “a hero not stuck at a police office desk”. Lol 😂 (especially after other heroes had, a lot more work/adventure than her stuck at her current job!)… “shhh 🤫, I’m only undercover to get a job done, instead of being stuck at my own desk, and I’m more than capable at drawing the line at murder for would be mobsters!… too!”
