I've been writing songs since I was 4 years old but have never released anything. Last week, I felt God nudge me to start posting some of them on social media.Yesterday, I started a songwriting challenge, posting them to Instagram and KZbin. I was always afraid of TikTok, but after hearing Katy talk about it, I posted in faith. I'm trusting that God will send these songs to whoever needs to hear them and that He will be glorified. I kept hearing this chorus of God of Possible playing on Facebook back in January of 2021. I got sick one night and I knew immediately that I had covid. I found this chorus and I played it over and over and over again that entire night. It helped me tremendously during that time of attack on my health to listen to that chorus and know that every time that chorus was played it was a prayer that was being sung directly over me. ❤

I’m so SO happy you have Katy on your podcast! I just love her music! She seems very sweet and genuine in her Spiritual walk. Her song “I Speak the Name of Jesus,” has had a very strong impact on my family. My love one is in person. He is very young. It’s been difficult. I drove to the prison and parked my car. A few months ago, I was going through a time when I didn't even know what to pray for, but I knew something needed to change. Several situations were just so complicated and felt hopeless. I remember I was in the car alone, when this song came on the radio. I started to cry and felt this song/prayer so deeply. I felt a peace after it was over, knowing God has the situation completely in His control. Honestly, I had kind of forgotten about that moment. Just before I started this video, I was thinking about how different the situation is now. Not perfect, but I can so clearly see God's hand in it all...And then Katy started singing and I was suddenly reminded how God used this song to encourage me in that dark time. Candace and Katy, Please pray for my health. I've been living with chronic health issues for years and am feeling a loss of hope. I know our hope is in Christ. That He still heals today. Miracles happen literally every day. There aren't TV cameras there to record each and every one of them, but every once in a while we see His power, which exceeds all temporal possibililty. When I was young, my dad, being a sports guy, showed me Bob Beamon's long jump in Mexico City 1968. He broke the record by more than two feet. They literally couldn't measure it with the tools they had. They had to use an old fashioned tape measure to measure it. People nowadays try to explain it away by saying he had a backwind or the high altitude, but none of the other competitors, under the same conditions, could come close to replicating his feat. Beamon himself didn't know how miraculous his jump was until they translated the metres into feet and inches, and when they did, he fell to his knees because he knew that he had done something that was literally impossible (imagine someone running a TWO minute mile in these times). He knew that God had touched him, and it changed his life. Why Beamon? Why in a long jump at the Olympics? I cannot know God's motives. But that was a miracle. I think that God likes to remind us that He is beyond everything - time, space, reality - and that literally anything is possible among God and his creation.
