You truly can train your voice to sing. My daughter was not a natural singer. She loved musical theater and had an ear for music. She is self-trained and is a beautiful singer today. She trained in NYC after high school for musical theater. I am so grateful that she is on fire for the Lord and now uses her voice for Worship instead of musical theater.❤

Yes, I agree with taking care of yourself and recognizing what state of mind you're in. Dr. Charles Stanley once said to remember the acronym, HALT (hungry, angry, lonely, tired). Go to the Lord to be fed with His Presence and His Spirit and take care of the amazing mind and body He created for you!❤

"Unless you're tone-deaf," 🙋♀️ my elementary clarinet teacher said, "Honey, does that note sound right to you?" And I was like, yeah! And she said, "Sweetheart, I think you may be tone-deaf!" This made sense because my mom had said, "You have many gifts, but singing isn't one of them." 😉😆😂🤣 But, she also said,"If you can't sing well, sing loud." So, when I'm alone, I sing LOUD to the Lord🙌✝️🎶🕊💗🙏💗🙏💗

As a mom of a child with scoliosis, your story really made me feel not alone- as in, my daughter is not alone with this journey! She has the best attitude with it and I'm so grateful for that! As a mom, it's so very hard that I can't fix my daughter's problem. We know the Lord has big plans for her and her story. He has already used her experience to help others- sometimes we have to focus on that. Thank you for sharing your story!

Candace- please consider having the “Dwell differently” sisters on! They have a genius way to memorize scripture and have helped me grow in my faith! Also, thanks so much for allowing God to use you in such an amazing way! ❤️ I have learned so much from ur Godly words of wisdom and ur guests on this show. The Bible recap (due to ur podcast) has been life changing ❤God bless you and ur family ❤

I have this feeling since last episode that Candace and Katy are like 2 peas in a pod 😂 I think they could finish each other sentences at any given moment. But seriously though, Katy has a wisdom beyond her years 😮 at her age I was just stupid but she is so mature and composed. Brava🎉

I had back surgery on October 1, 2015. I am a Christian and I love the Lord. I was in so much unrelenting pain that if the surgery doesn’t work, then I would be able to make it? It took me a year to get over it all. I am very cautious with everything I do with my back. I agree that we can praise God in the darkness.

So good! A few years ago I was worried about something that would bother me often. After praying for a bit I just started picturing the lord covering them with his wings and angels all around them. That was the Lord showing me he is always there and is always protecting us. That’s what gave me peace finally. That now helps me with all my worries. You’re the first person I heard that does the same thing. Love it!

I visualize all the time! I've literally placed myself in God's large, protective hands (I'm like the size of Polly Pocket doll to Him 😅). I don't even care if someone finds this weird because it's so helpful and comforting to me.

It’s like the story of Lazarus. He was raised from the dead. But he had to eventually die again and actually stay deceased (his body of course). Or of anyone who gets cured of something like a disease, illness, etc. Eventually we all will get sick and die of something. But this doesn’t mean you didn’t receive a miracle in the first place. God gives us many small (and sometimes big) miracles throughout our lives. He is with us in the pains and sufferings and He is with us in our joys and happiness. He is always faithful.

Thanks. We have free will. We are born without God. We try to make it on our own. We don't have God's wisdom. We have to turn to our Maker. He knows us. We have to listen to him and learn from him. We have to realise the lies and ways of the world in contrast to the truth and ways of God. We need the hope of justice and heaven and a better world.
