Very nice, I was hoping to see an evolution from the M series. The reason I didn’t pull the trigger for lenses was the issues I saw happening with the 14pro involving vignetting from the new quad bayer sensor.

I've been noticing with each iPhone upgrade, that the images with my Moment lenses have been looking less and less sharp as the camera modules have been getting larger, affecting the distance between the Moment lens and image sensor. So if, there's going to be a new bayonet mount for the T series, will there be a new universal lens mount adapter? I'd like to use them on something other than my iPhones, like my Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Xperia 1 V. Would be nice if there was a trade-in program with the lenses. I have quite a few of them.

For me the only thing that makes sense are tele lenses, smartphones have enough wide angle but especially on the Iphones i would need tele lenses. But lets see, maybe the IP15 has more "optical zoom". Also the 10x macro lens is interesting. Those lenses must have a perfect installation method, that dont leave scratches from the mounting and everything.

We've tested on iPhone, Samsung, and Pixel so far - works great using our T-Series universal lens mount. Will need to do some Xiaomi testing, but should work as well

Look nice, but yet again another different mounting system meaning I have to carry 3 different phone cases with me when I travel to fit the accessories. I assume the "universal" mount option won't fit over the Smallrig cage? It would all end up much to expensive to replace everything again.

The mount had to change, as the size of the mount was one of the causes of vignetting on some phones. We would have preferred to keep it all the same.

@@AlexStankie I understand the reasons why, and it makes sense of course. Just a shame when you already have a set of tools built around one system. I would have been tempted to just add one or two T Series lenses, but I doubt even the screw mount would fit around an existing cage.

@@grahambullman We switched to a drop-in mount system to maintain this compatibility so customers could easily swap. Small rig has been using our mounts without a license or permission. It's hard for us to manage compatibility for people copying the system.

That said, we have multiple patents on the mounting system, and we'd prefer companies at least talk to us about products they claim are compatible.

Would love to see some kind of trade-in program as many of us have bought multiple M-series lenses and want to keep supporting you guys and buying the latest phones and lenses, but don't want all the older M-series to go to waste! No, the mounts are not backwards compatible. For iPhone we offer both mounts, so you'll just have to swap the drop-in mount in your case to switch between lens series.

I cannot use all the lenses I bought from moment a few years ago on my iPhone 14 Pro max. All you see is the outer edge of the lens in the frame. They don't fit even with the drop in lens mount and the Moment case. bummer.

y'all need to know, if you buy a Moment lens then upgrade your phone, there is ZERO promise it works correctly on the next model. This is not on Moment, but I have ALL the previous lenses, and NONE of them really work right on the iPhone 14, but were fine on the 13.

The T-Series 1.55x is a significantly improved design, with an added element and wider aperture. You should have much sharper corner to corner images.

I use the 1.55x M-series with my 13 Pro Max and I love it, and while the example footage from the 1.55x T-series looks great I can't tell if it would be worth trading in my old lens for. Do you think I would likely notice a significant difference?

My anamorphic never worked, impossible to turn it with the halen key, I went to a photographer shop and others shop to help me, never worked 😡😡
