At 38mm in the heel, this is about as max stack as we need. Good on Topo for not following the absurd moon-shoe trend (45mm+). Looks like a nice stability shoe.

That medial midfoot remains unchanged, what you call a secure lockdown translates to intrusive arch pain for some of us wider foot folks. I can literally tickle the bottom of my foot when I wear Topos. Please open up that medial side of the midfoot, the taper is too aggressive.
