This looks really promising and if you actually have made major breakthroughs on the case, I'd bet a lot of horror/mystery youtubers would be interested. I'd recommend that if you did in fact, make real progress, try and get in contact with Lazy Masquerade, Nick Crowley, Top5s, Nexpo, Slightly Sociable, and Mr Nightmare. They'd probably want to talk about it in one of their videos.

But he repeats some conspiracy theories that are based in some really ugly places without explaining the context. Some of the things he mentions in passing are actually really… like… not good theories to promote. I imagine he just didn’t do full research on them so I don’t think it’s out of malice. And also I’m agnostic so the biblical stuff just isn’t for me unless it’s from a secular point of view like Hoch

Just found this story on podcast and am just onto episode two. Even though we lived in Oxfordshire, Southern was our strongest TV signal as our local transmitter was obscured by a hill (Boars Hill). I was 9 years old at the time, my younger brother 7 and remember this broadcast as it frightened the living daylights out of us! Our parents didn’t have any answers either, which made it even more scary.

A thorough investigation into the event by Tommy with good production, but getting stuck down plenty of blind allies! He's the first person got to reveal the perpetrator, but even in the final episode for some reason Tommy didn't get around to clearly explaining why the that particular transmitter was targeted or how it was done. Plot spoiler: Hannington was the only main British TV transmitter that didn't have a secure RF or cable feed, but relayed its signal from the Rowridge TV transmitter on the Isle of Wight. The pranksters knew this and all they had to do was park up near the Hannington transmitter with their own low power transmitter sending a signal on 525.25 MHz (the Rowridge ITV sound channel) and Hannington just relays that. Not complicated to understand but unfortunately not explained in 'The Interruption'. If someone had bothered to ask anyone in broadcast engineering decades ago how this was done we wouldn't have had all the acres of nonsense printed about aliens and their superior technology. So superior apparently, that they couldn't manage do this over the whole nation (just Hampshire and bits of Berkshire!) or to capture the AM picture signal - technically much harder than capturing the FM sound only.

I remember reading about this at the time, and had kept the article for the past 45 years. The news service that broke the story is the now defunct UPI, and they got a few things wrong with it. Instead of Vrillon they reported the voice to be Asteron. The beginning of the broadcast was reported thusly: This is the voice of Asteron. I feel if there were any real developments that weren't just speculation or hearsay it wouldn't need to be leveraged into a podcast series. I do respect that this wasn't profiting off of people's suffering by commercials for bluetooth headphones and stuff prior to relating the stories about how people were murdered (without any funds or consent from the family of deceased) like other channels. The nauseating flavour of narcissism felt to me rather predominating in the first episode. The second was freer from it. I wonder why no one senses as an important part of the broadcasted message the (crude paraphrase) “call for humans to raise their awareness enough to learn to see energy in terms to See the true nature and intentions of those who predate on energy produced by the Ego, those masquerading as well intentioned, with perfect facade”. the way I feel it is that such messages call humans to learn to see energy, to learn to discern beyond the simulacra of social status, facade, slick surface presentation, etc. Unless this happens, humans will always give their energy to psychopaths who “present well”. …..this is how I feel it.
