Introducing The NEW 2020 Bailey Autograph and Alliance SE Motorhomes

We were kindly invited to the launch of the New Bailey Autograph and Alliance Silver Edition Motorhomes at Stanton House in Stanton Fitzwarren Swindon.
In this video, we looked at the outside of the new Bailey Autographs, the new Bailey Alliance SE 76-4 and inside the new Bailey Autograph 79-4T (13:40)

One final point to mention is specifically on the new Autograph 81-6 model. Owning to the weight and size of this vehicle it will be sold with a factory fitted restrictor limiting it to speeds of 68 mph (or 110 kph). This not only has positive safety implications but also ensures that the vehicle is again fully compliant with new EWVTA legislation.

Nice van, the curved internal woodwork on the seat bases is a great touch. Wonder how the panel fit on the exterior looks, hope the use of mastic has reduced. Wonder why the awning has lost the side pods, it now looks like a post sale addition mmm.

Will the rear overhang be OK on ferries that have high ramps?

You certainly will want to be careful, but the ride height has been increased by 75mm on these new Autographs, so that might help.

Oh heck Bob, now I have to retract what I said the other day about badly designed MHs 😀. Really like the interior of this, some very nice well thought out touches. The USB in the map lights, curved cushions, the worktop over the cooker (very good), the drawers under the beds. Sadly just not keen on the boxy look of the Baileys. Another great video Bob 👍

Thanks, I thought the new Bailey looked less boxy now, with the changes to the area near the cab, being rounded off. I think the interior is the important bit though.

I do like the grey color better than the black. I do think the minor changes makes a huge difference to the outside features,.... maybe the Earnshaw's contemplate a upgrade from the Bolero! Hmmm... Looking for that new video... "Our new motorhome"!

Excellent review, thanks! Got the current 79/4T and very pleased with it, but that one looks lovely. I wonder what trade-in I'd get after 11 months and 3000 miles 🤔? Seating area looks much cosier and practical by the fridge move from nearside to onside. Love the new sinks in kitchen and shower room, still the crumpled duvet in the bedrooms with the middle drawer but not really an issue. The step in the bedroom conceals a 'shoe' locker, dont think the demo carpets had taken this into account but its there! My only slightly negative thought is that the new awning is from Omnistore and does not have the 'streamlined' finish the current model has? They need 2 aero pods to blend it in to the body. Apart from that the outside new changes look great in my opinion. So should I approach my Bailey dealer or not is the question......🤔 Keep up the good work both 👍

Great review and Bailey seems to offer bang for buck..the New Graphics are a welcome addition (how fickle am I) but one criticism that i just cant get pass is how the Awning on the Baileys looks like an afterthought and needs IMO to be streamlined into the body..

I love the 2 litre blue HDI. Really economical but with 160bhp! It goes like the proverbial off a shovel.......if I want it to! 😊

Apart from the fact you can't buy petrol powered coachbuilt motorhomes, they are phasing out all petrol, diesel and LPG vehicles by 2035, so do you know anyone who makes electric powered coachbuilt motorhomes yet?

There is or was a petrol coach built motor home on ebay last week and lpg is very clean I can't see why they need to get rid of it thanks kev

An older coachbuilt like a Talbot or Transit had petrol engines, but no new ones.

Oh yes there are if you look on ebay there are several that are not the old Talbot there are lovely coach built rvs that are petrol and lpg that is the future deisel is gone it is the fuel that has caused most pollution problems
