We looked at Adria at NEC in October. We were impressed.

Another great overview complete with sleeping coat/man bag jokes and other amusing banter between the two of you :) I've always liked those low profile Matrix vans from Adria, shame the sales chap didn't sound like he knew very much about it and thought that sorting his bedding out was only his wife's responsibility! The bed on the 810 A class looks like it was in its highest position to max garage space. Looks like the light grey between the drawers and underside of the bed surface was stretchy fabric which retracts when you lower the bed to a more reasonable height.

The roller team 740 is a much better lay out at the back regarding the bed as it can be lowered to suit....I'm surprised that one is not adjustable, but it does have storage in it so that's probably why

The bed in the sonic 810 is in travel mode for storing bikes in transit ...it lowers conciderably for sleeping. A lack of 240v sockets in all the kitchen areas today.

Great video Bob and Jenny. Bob you are awful to Jenny, "see if you can reach up there","see if you can get up there", but Jenny is a trooper and smiling throughout. A comic duo in the making. Who'd have thought of a freezer chest "in" the kitchen! Was that a push button lift on the lid? Bed in adria sonic is electric and goes up and down....we saw it too...lovely van

As Stuart says the bed goes down. It is in the travel position when you viewed it were you can store cycles etc.it actually a very good feature. Love the videos by the way.

For the record the same applies on the 670SC (Matrix or whatever) We have folding e-bicycles and they easily fit when the bed is fully down. The bed 'travel' is 30cm or about 1 foot, you can see the amount it moves by looking at the netting below the mattress. It's fully stretched when up and not visible when fully down. We just leave it down all the time. The height is controlled electrically via a switch in the garage, you can see the motor driven worm drive mechanism inside the garage as well.Thanks for all the videos this year, you cover an awful lot of vans over the show days Good work!

Re the Adria Sonic, I've never liked black leather upholstery. Makes me think of a batchelor pad! Also, a seat in a shower is a good idea for those with disabilities like me, as I need to sit down in a shower. Also handy if you just want to wash your feet after a day out hiking in muddy fields, or paddling on a beach. I'm surprised you don't see seats like that more often, considering the wheel arch intrusion. That last van was odd! What is the point of that "chair" by the door? There was only enough seat to perch uncomfortably on it. They should have either left the space open, or put a small cupboard there. Loved seeing Poppy with her friends at the end! Yes the seat would be useful for someone with limited mobility and suppose they thought that they could use that space.

The problem with beds which are high because of a garage underneath is not just getting in but if you awake due to a call of nature climbing down narrow steps when not properly awake in the dark can be dangerous.

@@BobEarnshawMoHo Hi Bob, I've seen one of these, the theory of the high bed is to make more height available in the garage if required. That greyish material just under the mattress is a sort of gap filler as you raise or lower the bed. It looks pretty taught so I would say that bed was at its maximum height, the bed drops down quite a bit but still rather high. Really enjoying these video's, your both doing a terrific job well done 😊

Payloads in van conversions tend to be less than in comparable size coach builds .... and by some margin.

Hi Bob & Jenny Enjoying your videos. Your efforts are much appreciated. When you look at Bailey can you check whether any of them have got or can have AES fridges. We looked at 3 vans the other day and even the Autograph was manual selection. The more we look, the more we think the prices are over the top. Hope you get chance to enjoy a wander round when you have finished the videos.

Hi Bob Sod's law it was a 69-2 Autograph. The others were Advance 59-2 and Alliance 66-2. A bit disappointing as these were the ones we were considering. Don't know why so many Bailey were non-AES. The Swifts we viewed were AES but there were other compromises. If only you and I could spec and design the perfect van we'd be ok. Couldn't believe the Swift you looked at the other day with the curtain that got trapped in the locker and fridge, surely someone could see the problem with that in 2 seconds as you did. Have you ever considered an A class? Waiting to see which new van you will get!!!!!! Not expecting it to be one with a high island bed. We rented one and head room is so limited and so difficult to get into bed with steps and such limited headroom with lockers above
